Ever heard the term soft coup?

I totally get your point, but do you think Republicans are going to purposely remove protections for folks like Musk? He and the other Techbros are part of the current problem.

You'd think the Fire Department would be one of the last things to have its budget cut given recent events.

Per a recent CNN article on the same topic the VA employs about 470,000 people. So, not quite all of them.
That would put them back to 2019 levels, back when claims took FOREVER. Heck even at current levels they can take just slightly less than forever to process.

Given the stuff that gets posted to www.reddit.com/r/AppleIntel..., these reviews could be hilarious.

Soon to be at least 25% more expensive if the tariffs on EU countries happen.

This way we can all be totally dependent on the stock market doing well! 🙄

That's been swatted down as unconstitutional by at least one court, and has been bounced back and forth between injunctions and stays several times. The law apparently needs to be reworked, period.

We've been like this far longer than Trump has been in office.

It is a consequence that they can now have access. The point is that the UK government wanted a built in backdoor and Apple would not give it to them. Backdoors get abused and discovered and then exploited.
comment in response to

Well, it was either remove that feature or give the UK government a backdoor into your data.

Maybe farms in the desert are a bad idea and are part of the reason for the problems with the river?

Hacking the cops is cool and all, but that's some Nazi crap.

There's now a setting to allow only comments/replies from people that follow you. You should turn that on. That way you have less of a chance to be exposed to thoughts and ideas that threaten your narrow worldview.

A legit Green Party would be a good option. Our current one needs to at least part with Jill Stein first.

With the way the DNC functions you expect them to ever make the ballot for the presidency? Look at what they did to Bernie when they shoved Clinton down our throats. Hell, they just made David Hogg who's only qual is surviving a school shooting and only platform plank is "no guns" the Vice Chair.

Vetting candidates is important, not legal under US law, but still important. If it is not allowed you get candidates that do not have to hold the party line and can flip flop at will. (See Fetterman, et al) The Palestinians have not been well served by the Dems (See Biden). What do you suggest?

Can you elaborate on that?

We could just keep voting for the Dems, that'll eventually work. Right?

I do not support anything done by Musk or Trump.
That being said, most of you should read the decision, it was the legally correct one. The States filed based on what ifs/hypotheticals and used mainly news reports to support their claim. Also, there's a hearing for a preliminary injunction tomorrow.

Do you realize how many gun owners are Dems? Have you not seen the explosion in numbers of Dems of all types, especially those in the most vulnerable demographics arming themselves given the current circumstances?
You Sir, are so far out of touch with reality. You really should step down.
