It's hard for me to explain, but I'll try: One thing I see is a defense of fascist takes that take them at face value. For example, a common response to transgender ban in sports is "But there are hardly any trans people in sports!" True, but the main thing is that it isn't an issue at all.

I won't get into this on here, but one of best things that ever happened to me was not getting into my Spanish PhD. I did get the MA, and it has been helpful in my work, and I have the library science master's, too. But, I'm 10-15 years from retirement, and hugely concerned how it will go.
