I love the Tale of Lúthien & Beren because it's the most fairytale-ass thing in the Silmarillion. Enchanted forests, starcrossed lovers, evil sorcerers, werewolves, vampires, talking dogs, a princess who escapes from captivity with her magic hair, a wizards' rap battle, reverse Orpheus & Eurydice.
