Sorry didn’t see your question. I’ll look it up and send to you, think it might have been Swiss ramble.
As for Darwin, his link up play was ok, not and never is as good as Bobby’s while having worse G/A. So exactly what is good about him as a 9?

Virgil, Grav, Mo (in moments) Elliot and Chiesa had a nice cameo.

Wasn’t a threat at any time until a ball was laid onto him and he smashed into the keepers legs. Not sure that counts as “well” to me.

If it makes no sense maybe you just don’t know what the plan is?

Who is saying that?
When he goes you desperately hope Liverpool struggle more like it! 😂😂😂

I know. Still they are imo better than Fubo.

So you’re suggesting that Slot completely changes his formation?
Wow. Can I ask your where you got your coaching badges from?
comment in response to

So you are suggesting we should buy and only occasionally play a top level CDM as cover for Grav?
Tell me how that negotiation goes with such a player?

Sell him, but will we fund a club dumb enough to buy a player with his injury record?
Wait, does anyone have Werder Bremens phone number? 😂

Kevin have you had a look at UEFA FFP guidelines for 2025?
Compare wage ratio to the clubs last set of accounts.
The issue is way more complicated than “just give them what they want”.
Not enough being said about how hard that 70% will be for PL clubs in Europe.
comment in response to

There’s is no way we meet UEFA FFP 2025 regs if we sign all three at their wage demands.
We are at 72% already and the reg is 70%.

The drop off from him to Macca or even Curtis isn’t as big, and I’d also point out that Wata had some magnificent cdm performances last season. I’ve been surprised that Slot hasn’t given him more opportunities tbh.

Why are we buying a starting dm? Have my eyes deceived me this season?

Ok. Could be. Who knows? But honestly does that make this the start of the Fourth Reich or just confirm he’s the fucking moron we already knew he was.

Ok Jimi the fact checker. Now jog along.

But we did it right? Slots had a good look now and he’ll have his changes in mind and hopefully the backroom will be able to act upon them.
If we get at least 2 contracts over the line it doesn’t change the first choice XI by more than 3, which is fine, especially if we do pick up some silverware.

There’s enough of them to more than one thing at a time.

There’s mass amnesia among our fans. Look up what we did in summer 23 with the midfield.
So yes there is 100% a way.
comment in response to

Not sure we need two expensive strikers, could be one plus Danns into the mix? Also I’d point out we bought Szobo, Grav, Mac and Endo two summers ago.

Sell them both. Time to move on.

Chungwana in Nigeria and Asif in Egypt are not representative of actual fans.

Against NUFC he picked Casemiro in his woefully exposed mf 2 system. They had no legs and were subbed. Last few games he’s picked the youthful pair of Ugarte and Mainoo. They’ve been both subbed in those games too. Maybe it’s not the players?
Amorin is a self promoting shite and I’m here for it.

The ball to the right is no better than 50/50 b/c the def. is running that way. The ball to the left is uncontested b/c def running away from pass.
comment in response to

When you have a high number of shots but all with low xG you get high xG v goals, often. Brentford game great example.
What I see is a drop off in high quality chances.
comment in response to

United have long ago stopped looking analytically at potential signings and simply say “ we need a GK, who’s the most expensive one available b/c he must be the best”. Or which one does the manager want b/c then he can’t say “ it’s not my team”.
comment in response to

He probably won’t anyway.
I’d caution that Spurs are pretty awful but for sure Dyche wouldn’t have got that result against them.

I think his sporting credentials looked good in Portugal but the minute I heard about him flying to talk to West Ham last year, I knew he was a self focused prick. He’s done nothing to change my mind and watching home trying to play 3-4-3 in the PL has made me also realize how limited he is.

Sounds amazing. Not sure why United didn’t hire Ranieri in 2016 then.

You’re right mate. We’ve hugely lucky, had no injuries, only played shit teams and have paid off the PGMOL to get every decision in our favour.
I’m all for it because that’s what we need to be better than the mighty multi trophy winning juggernaut that is Arsenal…
😂😂😂 YNWA 😉

We’ll be talking about Slot decades from now, Amorin will be forgotten in 2 years.

I’m all for them seeing it through to the inevitable firing.
I can’t think of a single truly successful manager ( loads of managers have won the Portuguese league and done fuck all elsewhere), who wasn’t pragmatic.
Anyway long may the fun continue!

I think the owners know he’s shit based on Ten Hag and Van Nistelrooy not picking him.
comment in response to

If you do t have the players then why play the system. Play one that will get something going until the club allows you to start bringing in ones that do.
Or refund ticket holders b/c you are sending out a team you know will fail despite your instructions.

As I’ve said to others, I really hope you stick with this guy, but right now he’s the closest one to the emperors with the new clothes that you’ve had.
This guy picks Antony to start.
A conscious choice to start a League 2 level player and leave out actual decent footballers.
comment in response to

He’s a one trick pony.
I watched his theatrics in the saints game. Letting everyone know the team wasn’t his and the mistakes were all on him, right up until Amad equalized then suddenly he was the big I am chest thumping and urging them on like he’d backed them the whole game.
He’s a charlatan.
comment in response to

This is total BS. The system is what? The game is nowhere near as complicated as you’ve been fooled into thinking.
Everyone of these players was highly regarded their entire lives until they met this muppet.
But keep him please, it’s comedy gold.
comment in response to

You’re delusional. He’s just shat on the entire squad after shitting on Rashford and Garnacho a few weeks ago.
Lower PpG than Ten Hag, absolutely rank home performances, lower xG higher xGA.
He is utterly in over his head, you’ll buy players to suit 3-5-2 then sack him. I love it.
comment in response to
post
His points per game is significantly lower than Ten Hag even if you just look at Ten Hag this season when he got fired.
The goals against per game is higher and goals for lower.
Shits conceded is higher. Every metric is worse, so in what way is he not worse than Ten Hag?
comment in response to

One leg considerably longer than the other. And a heavy sunburn on his left leg.
comment in response to

Lovely move that, although not the greatest idea to cross into that space unless he had a premonition that Onana would goof.
Onana is one of those keepers who is capable of regularly producing spectacular saves he’s not right to make, and being completely inept in the same game.
comment in response to
post
He’s easily the worst manager they’ve had since Whisky Face retired.
United fans are t as dumb as he thinks, they can all see that he’s somehow managed to make them worse than Ten Hag. Most have them hate the 3 at the back bs.
There’ll be a plane flying over Old Trafford soon.

I think Trump realizes that by weaponizing mobs of his supporters DC visits, maybe one day soon when prices don’t go down and they are all poorer due to tariffs they might just show up and overthrow him.

They more or less assumed they’d beat City at home in their upcoming game, now they are thinking they’ll lose and be staring 4th place in the face.
Delusional set of fans.

The issue with having fans spread far and wide is someone can have an account called LFC blog and just be some clueless fuckwit posting from a hut in who the fuck knows where pretending they are an in the know.

Thanks Captain Obvious, I’m so wonderfully educated by the contributors to this thread.
So did we are did we not “buy virtually nobody in the past three windows”?
