Big deal! That's not a protest. Follow Al Green's example and call out...protest! Interrupt!

Well done Al Green. What are the rest of the Democrats doing? Will they protest as well or sit there like meek cowards?

Are the other Democrats going to follow his example and protest? Or are they going to sit there like cowards?

As long as they can hold off for another 25 years until the subs are actually delivered 🤔

A large proportion of Australians think the AUKUS deal is terrible anyway. Would be very happy to see it collapse and use the $350 Billion on social spending.

Should never have been charged.

That's because we voted out the LNP.

To be honest, we probably deserve it. 😔

Yes. The ALP has an almost pathological hatred of the Greens, showing once again they are more interested in petty politics than making positive change for the future.
Both major parties are no longer fit to lead.

Here's a starter list for you, but there many more, including books about the massacres (Blood on the Wattle is an excellent read).

No pride in genocide. Solidarity with all those protesting today.

It most certainly was. You should look it up and read about The Frontier Wars.

This is a disgraceful act. Putting his own family ahead of others. Exactly what Trump would (and now will) do.
comment in response to

No way. Weak, ineffectual and arguably lost the election for the Democrats by hanging on to power for too long. Pardoning his entire family is a disgraceful, selfish act.

Simultaneously unsurprising and horrifying.

Backsliding on his ludicrous ideas already. Haha! 🤣

People are rapidly growing angrier and angrier with these soulless, immoral, greedy parasites. There is a change coming ...

Work Choices was a terrible legacy for his time in Parliament. Shows how important it is to strive to do good when you're in power, not hurt the most vulnerable.

Shame on everyone associated with this flagrant breach of human rights. Utterly appalling 😡

Worth considering Qld has the 2032 Olympics and successive state governments have suspended human rights to imprison children as young as 10.

An environment minister who is a climate change sceptic. The QLD LNP is at least predictably incompetent.

Same here. Have had to block multiple accounts. I always check their replies too. Seem to be bots?

I agree. It is corruption. The concept of 'no-one is above the law' is an absolute, not a sliding scale. I abhor Trump and am appalled and horrified at the rapid decline of justice and the rule of law in the US, but this is a serious misstep and undermines any moral high ground the Dems had.

Or...why did the ALP refuse to negotiate in good faith about provisions for relief for renters for 2.5 years?

Congratulations on your bravery and activism. As a long-time union rep I applaud your organising ability. Keep up the fight! 💪

The ALP are more interested in damaging The Greens than solving the housing crisis. The refusal to negotiate in good faith (especially rent relief) shows a complete contempt of those people struggling.

Morgan is an utter moron. He rails against every subject without ever fully grasping the key concepts. It staggers me he has his own show. People like him are usually muttering to themselves alone in the corner of a near-empty pub.
