I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F. 18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it. We made this website to tell our story: 18f.org

I had a talk with someone earlier who very proudly informed me that they read only nonfiction. When I inquired why (dear God why), they simply said "I like my reading to teach me about the world." I laughed. All the facts in all the books in all the world cannot teach you any of what fiction does.

Pretty much! Also Pirelli tire decision for this race was a joke. Likely laziness based on the boring weather of the region. Then it was cooler and f’d up the entire grids tire strategy. Those hards were a joke, should have been the softness on the yellows. Pushed far to far to the hard end

This Qatar F1 race has been one of the worst in recent memory. Absolute disaster of a race director. Get the damn wing mirror off immediately. Don’t run a yellow flag on the main straight lap after lap. Saftey car and remove it. Mirror was reason for Norris and Hamilton penalties. So f’ing stupid.
