Woken Furies (the whole Takeshi Kovacs trilogy honestly) is definitely one of my faves.

The Shadow Hearts trilogy. At minimum, the FIRST Shadow Hearts. This likely will never happen because the original IP and assets were lost. But it'd still be awesome to see it rebuilt from the ground up with some QoL changes.

Wait until you start using fruit in your baking. Peach cobbler and apple pie hits different when the peaches and apples are straight from the tree. 🀌🏾

The last wedding I went to was my own. Before that, I'd only been to two weddings. Both were for family.

G'raha Tia's monologue in FFXIV:Endwalker. And the song that follows it ruins me every time I hear it. 😭😭😭

I was a Genesis kid. I had to choose between one or the other because we couldn't afford both at the time. I'd get a second-hand SNES later on, but I LOVED my Genesis!

πŸ™‹πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ I'm Mika and have been gaming since Atari 2600. Also a writer, spiritualist/occultist, and currently an RPG girlie. I love and still play the classics. Especially 90s RPGs. Currently praying for a Xenogears remaster because folks SHOULD play it at least once.

Until CD entered the landscape, then the shift to digital licensing (aka purchase). It's cheaper to manufacture and deliver a game now with less risk, making more games easily available. Which I think contributes to the overwhelm of choice. 2/2

Also, the standard for games has changed since then. These 2 to 4 games were highly anticipated because of the cost tied to cartridges. It was already costly to MAKE the game, before you add in manufacturing these things and how many you had to guess-timate would sell. 1/?

I enjoyed XIII immensely. The battle system reminded me of Star Ocean (which also used a "stagger system" in Til The End of Time). It was a fun game. Might play it again.
