Alright. Here's a tough one...
Which Sony PS2 game deserves to get a full modern remake if you could choose ANY game from its entire library?

I feel like it was a super fun split screen shooter ahead of it's time gameplay wise.
Here is what the game is on PS2. https://youtu.be/PXS1BKPzqpk?si=F7GFRxJukgLiTj9N
(And 2. And 3.)
Such an amazing game. And it scratched an itch for a GitS-esque game before there were any. Mechanically it's also so much cleaner than modern games trying to do the same thing.
I remember seeing a preview screenshot on the back of my PS2 Box and thinking "that looks interesting"
The Bouncer was among them also and were some of the first games I bought.
I kid you not when I say I have hundreds of hours in The Bouncer. 😅😂
It was fairly unique for the time.
I also likely had hundreds of hours in The Bouncer 😂
I was talking to @pspolygons.bsky.social about this not too long ago, I think.
Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
It’s really benefit from a remake treatment, allow them to sort out issues as much as I enjoyed it.
Oh and REMOVE STEVE! 🙂↕️😂
I don’t care what they do, give him the poochy treatment. 😂
I would miss the shop fronts from retailers that no longer exist though, RIP Our Price.
Objectively – Ico
Subjectively – Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
Chaos Legion!
Not like the soft reboot they did back in 2016, which wasn't good IMO.
A true remake.
Most fun football game I've ever played, hands down!
…now, for my serious answer, the Shadow Hearts games or honestly Drakengard 😊
Robot Alchemic Drive
Capcom is a fool for not giving us a remake of Outbreak. We got REverse instead... 😔
Give me freaking proximity chat(kb and voice), don't turn the unlockable skins and characters into pay2win shit, bring back scrapped scenarios and new ones even if they aren't meant to be canon just for fun and you'll have my soul for eternity
Gets often forgotten by people. Soundtrack is great too
Hell - the entire Tenchu franchise needs a remake!
"A body!!!"
2 MINUTES OF SEARCHING THE TINY AREA
"Must have been a cat."
I think that was the 360 game lol
I don’t want to “slide-cancel” into a frag grenade. I want comms discipline, breach plans, and a guy yelling “CLEAR!” who actually clears the room. Give me fireteam tactics. Reboot it like it’s a black ops mission, strategy over spray.
This and #2 are some of my fav super-hero related games ever
Amazing game.
Period.
There is no discussion.
(At the least i'll settle for Mega Man Command Mission, it is the only US released Mega Man game I never finished besides the Gamecude BN sidescroller, and it isn't on any Capcom-pilation that i'm aware of.)
It worked with Final Fantasy IV complete collection on PSP!
This likely will never happen because the original IP and assets were lost. But it'd still be awesome to see it rebuilt from the ground up with some QoL changes.
