I was diagnosed with Dysautonomia/POTS via a tilt table test w/ my cardiologist, but I had never done a “5 Minute Stand Test” at home. 5 minutes laying, then 5 minutes standing, then 5 minutes laying. Proof is in the pudding, as they say. Textbook POTS right here. #dysautonomia #pots #wearlumia

I don’t think people could fathom living how people with my disease live. I haven’t seen the sky in 3 months. I only see it when I get wheeled out for appointments on a stretcher which is every 3-4 months. I have eaten the same 6 foods for almost 3 yrs now. EVERYTHING I do is in bed. This is MECFS.

Q for those MECFS with POTS/OI. I use salt tablets to increase blood vol. I’ve found if I take a salt tab with glass of water when I get up for toilet at 1-3am, then I sleep better 2nd half of night & feel less awful in morning. Anyone with similar/different experiences?
