The US health care system is broken & wildly expensive. The function of a health care system is not to provide billions in profits for insurance & drug companies. It is to provide quality care as a human right. The time is NOW to pass Medicare for All.

Not a single word to help the 33m small businesses in this country. Not from anyone in the administration. So many buy from China, and don't have alternatives. So many didn't have the cash to front run the tariffs and buy inventory

Republicans just passed a budget that guts Medicaid, SNAP, veterans’ benefits, and free school lunches. They swore they'd fix the economy—but this sure as hell ain’t it.

The House GOP budget would rip health care from millions and slash food assistance—just to hand billionaires more tax breaks. It's chaotic and cruel. Democrats are fighting for the people, not the ultra-wealthy.

So, we heard y’all might wanna organize with us! We’ve got you covered. Remember: you don’t have to sign a strike card to help us organize. Or… you can sign your strike card in one of the ways shared in this doc! ⬇️ drive.proton.me/urls/JMWZH44... #RESIST #GENERALSTRIKE

All work has dignity. We need to raise the minimum wage.

Justice for Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

The U.S. is the only major country on Earth that does not guarantee workers a paid vacation. When a husband, wife & kids are unable to spend any time together on vacation, that is not a family value. It's an attack on everything a family is supposed to stand for. Unacceptable.

Goal achieved: An unusual number of people in an unusual number of places. 1,300 globally. There were probably more than 10,000 speakers alone at rallies today. Baffling to think about this scale!

Lawyers have a duty to defend our Constitution. It is an absolute outrage that, in order to curry favor with Trump and continue making their billions, giant law firms like Paul Weiss have abrogated their responsibilities. Thanks to those defending democracy. We will remember.

if you were looking for signs that Jeff Bezos's obeisance to Trump has bled over into newsroom coverage it would probably look something like this article getting top billing over the story of 3-5 million people marching yesterday www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

We need 3.5% of the American population to strike. If we go on strike without this, people will struggle even more. We hear you about signing up - it’s scary right now. But if you’re someone who is adamantly against the use of the strike card, we still want to hear from you…

Florida & Wisconsin, I hope you understand the assignment today! The entire Country, no World, is watching you. Please show up in record numbers and support candidates who will support the constitution & not the con!

Trump’s changes to Social Security will slash 7,000 jobs, shut down offices, and make folks jump through hoops to get what they’ve already earned. Seniors, disabled people, and rural communities—y’all are the target. This is not efficiency, it’s straight-up cruelty.

Instead of stealing Greenland from Denmark, let’s steal some of their policies. In Denmark: - Health care and college are free.   - The starting wage is $22/hr. - Paid parental leave is 1 year. - Paid vacation is 6 weeks.   - All workers get pensions.

Someone tell DOGE! Brutal photo by huff post i love it

@chrismurphyct.bsky.social and I walking into a PACKED house at UAW Region 1 here in Warren, MI! Republican Rep. John James refuses to hold a Townhall, so we did it for him!

Our for-profit health care system is not only broken & cruel, it's extremely wasteful. While we spend billions on stock buybacks, CEO compensation & denying needed care, Medicare for All would save $650 billion & 68,000 lives a year per CBO & Yale University. Let's get it done.

Senator @wyden.senate.gov: "If Americans don't get their Social Security benefits, it's because DOGE is playing with their money."

BREAKING: BISIGNANO LIES UNDER OATH @wyden.senate.gov: Were you involved in discussions about DOGE or any of the operations, personnel or management decisions with those working at Social Security? Bisignano: No, sir. Wyden: That sounds like a reassuring response. Unfortunately, it's not true.

Want to print GSUS stickers to raise awareness of the movement? We put together a drive with our current sticker designs for you! Remember: we get closer to being able to strike when people take initiative to create, share, and contribute. Join us today. drive.proton.me/urls/G9DMD88...

I do not think in the year 2025 that we should continue to accept a reality which sees women paid just $0.75 for every $1 men are paid for doing the same job. If we want to achieve economic justice in this country — that means equal pay for equal work.

Tomorrow I'll be speaking at a @redwineblueusa.bsky.social event about the upcoming elections in Wisconsin and Florida. We'll talk about why they matter and how you can help us win! Hope you can make it! March 25 at 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM ET. go.redwine.blue/0325wifl-jcr...
