I have an acquaintance (careers crossed multiple times). He was just let go by a different federal agency (probationary hire) and all our former military comrades are basically saying, "Yeah, it sucks buddy, but DOGE had to get rid of the corruption in the system. Say hi to the wife and kids." WTF!

Some of our fellow veterans believe we aren't a democracy - that they earned their special status and others don't deserve the same. They miss being thanked and feted. But now, they're just citizens, and it gets to them. They bought into the warrior class BS, the 3 percent, the Moldy Labia, etc.

This isn't an accident. They intentionally fired these people but were too ignorant to know what they did.
It wasn't a typo or wrongly entered data. It was a deliberate, albeit ignorant itentional act.
An arsonist can burn down an orphanage, and while the victims are unintentional, the act wasn't.
