Iām so sorry you had to say goodbye. Lynx was an amazing spirit, and she never knew a moment without love from the day she first claimed you. Iām sure she knew that. She will be deeply missed. Itās hard for me to imagine you and Aubrey without her

Is there someone you know who needs care of any kind? You could bring a meal to a sick friend, or go to their house and do a load of laundry for them or something like that. I find doing for others gets me out of my head when Iām spiraling. For me this time itās a pet who is in his last days š¢

So if I donāt respond to posts expressing existential dread about what comes next, itās not that I donāt care, and itās not that Iām unaware; itās that Iāve got my feed culled down to memes and medical discussion groups to keep me from sinking into a pit of panic and despair.

Me either. I keep trying to remind myself we have a community no matter what 47 does. We can turn to one another for strength and comfort. Iām here for you

Yeah, my thinking too. Nothing good lasts. Honestly I like discordās redux of ye old message board format. Self-policing per community, dedicated communities to topics. Probably some shitty ones but at least theyāre avoidable

If you are one of my trans or nonbinary siblings, donāt give up. Mourn the lost, but please nurture whatever tiny glow of hope you still have.

All it takes is a Trans Lives Matter bumper sticker, or a progressive pride flag sticker on your water bottle, or a trans pride flag lapel pin. We need to see and know that there are people in this world who still think our lives have value.

Make sure your trans friends know you are there for them. Make sure trans people, especially trans kids, know that there are good people out there who support us.
3/7? (This character limit thing is killing me)

With the recent election results it feels more hopeless than ever for trans people, but we cannot let hope die. If youāre a cisgender ally, please be visible.
