He also spends the most on travel in the house (400K last year. ) Pretty sure DC to Dallas shouldn’t cost that much.

I know. My husband too. They want to make them hated. If the American people are convinced to blame the federal workers as the scapegoat for their frustrations, they won’t notice it’s actually the rich politicians, corparations and ceo/shareholders that are truly the ones making their life’s hard.

If everyone with expertise left people would die. I don’t think people realize how important it is.

I live in Capitol Hill. Some staffers say yes, some say no. This is a crisis. It was talked about all over the hill a day 2 weeks ago the Capitol switchboard averaged 1600 phone calls an hour rather than the norm (40 calls per hour).
Constituents always can call local offices as well.

It’s not helpful if one or a couple people do it, but if a lot of people do it and the phones don’t stop and it’s overwhelming the offices- it lets them know this time is different. Esp the leaders of commitees. And the leaders.

You can call the committees. And the chairs of the committees and majority and minority leaders. This week, I said screw it I am calling everyone. I wish everyone was. Let’s flood the phone lines with calls.

You can make calls. I have taken to calling all the committees. And all reps and senators. And the RNC. I’ll do a second post with what I found online.

You should be angry at us. And I am so sorry for everything. There are those of us fighting here but it seems like sooo many want to ignore the reality of it.

That’s why it’s really important to contact reps, especially in red districts. most Dems will vote against this.
