My books are available on tons of other platforms, including Kobo, Nook/Barnes & Noble, Hoopla, Smashwords, itch, and direct from me (via my website)!

I published my 2 books through Amazon so of course they are on there. How easy is it to sell batches of one's books on other platforms?
Amazon let authors buy any amount at cost but so far I have only sold a tiny number at museums.

If you’re subscribed to KU you can’t post elsewhere but draft2digital is a good option for going wide. Also places like https://itch.io where you can sell your ebooks at whatever price you want and get a decent deal regarding payouts.

Buy direct! Many indie authors and publishers offer direct sales. You can email them or fill out a form (many use Shopify or a similar platform). Their websites should tell you all you need to know. (For what it's worth, the big publishing houses also sell direct.)

I can't speak to other platforms, but I publish independently through kobo. It pays 70% royalties, which I understand is more or less standard. What I like about Kobo is that it is Canadian/Japanese, and it does not require exclusive publication, which means I can still look for other publishers.
