AMAB, but whatever's fine. Pan, but not interested(sorry, this one's taken). Nearly Ace, but filthier than most of you animals. Both my mood and connective tissue are disordered. 🦓 #pEDS #BPD #cPTSD

Oh, New Orleans and Shreveport have the same problem. We've got Bossier, Nola has Metarie, once represented by David Duke in the state legislature. That is to say, it's not a New Orleans or Shreveport problem. It's a problem across Louisiana.

Surprise, surprise, an industry built on the back of organized crime is filled with corruption

Didn't mean to come off as catty. There's just a very big culture rift between Shreveport and Bossier, and it's telling that he set up on the Bossier side

His office is in Bossier City, thank you very much. He may have gone to school in Shreveport, but I sure as hell haven't seen him here since he became our "representative".

Well, yeah. Musical sequels are always bad. Just ask Phantom of the Opera, Rocky Horror Picture Show, or anything Ashman and Menken did for Disney. You're lucky to get one decent bop from an otherwise steaming trash heap when it comes to revisiting a musical.

Because this is a thread about led Zeppelin. When the Stones announce ANOTHER farewell tour, I'll be in those comments with receipts, too.

And I'm going to guess that, with such a laissez-faire attitude about age of concent, your friends aren't comfortable bringing their daughters around you. You're seriously, in 2025, on Kendrick Lamar's Internet, going to cape for pedophiles? Bad look, my guy...

It's genuinely hard to discern what part of Zeppelin's musical legacy is actually theirs, though. I wouldn't let a player into the hall of fame with this many asterisks on their stat sheet, is all I'm saying.

'Enjoyed underage girls' is not the same as spending two years commandeering a private jet to have sex with a 14 year-old, only to get dumped by said teenager when she caught him hooking up with Liv Tyler's mom. I'd get better heroes if I were you.

The difference between Zeppelin and the Beatles is that while both of them started with playing black music to white crowds, the Lads from Liverpool actually grew as artists, and found their own sound.

I'd give more credence to that argument if I considered them artists. Led Zeppelin is talented, absolutely, but by the time you take out all of the blues covers, songs with "sampled" sections, and Tolkien references, they're left with a very thin discography.

I agree on your second point, but take issue with the first part. I don't think the band should be celebrated for their music. At least not without an exhaustive list of all the artists they stole from.

Lori Maddox was probably sanitized right out of that story. Jimmy Page spent two years in a "relationship" with her, starting in 1972. Problem is, Lori Maddox was born in '58, making her all of 14 when they got together...

Might want to consider adding corn to that mix. You've already got two of the Three Sisters, so you might as well complete the trio. The tall, leafy corn helps collect water for the thirstier plants below, and the beans are great for nitrogen fixing. It'll all help the tomatoes

Oooh! Watch Josie and The Pussycats afterwards. They're a perfect double feature

Same here. My email filter actually marked it as potential spam, lol

Boeing has been garbage since the 80s. The merger with McDonnell-Douglas was bad all around. So bad, this right here is what The Economist had to say about it.

Can confirm. 3%ers up in Benton, Grey Ghosts up by Cross Lake. There's a lot of hateful pricks to watch out for around Shreveport. It's still very much a problem

For any of us to know what's going on there, we'd have to talk to our dads, and who the fuck is doing that nowadays?

We've been here before. Last time, it was 11,000 federal employees in one fell swoop. But we can see that the compromises made back then didn't work. and it's only getting worse.

Just... Be careful with that blue label bottle when it comes to ass-washing. That peppermint can get a little TOO refreshing.

Sad to see her leave Louisiana, but, fuck, I get it. Glad to see her thrive

A friend of mine saw her in October down in New Orleans, and she's still talking about that show. You're in for a fantastic night!
