Was there a reason for making it an hourly wage vs a per-quantity payment? I'm guessing federally prohibits it but I wanted to make sure. In the 60s in Hillsboro OR, all of us school kids picked strawberries during the summer for ~$1 per per flat. Child labour laws passed shortly thereafter!

Katy Perry with her souvenir spacesuit can go fuck herself. She was not a member of a space crew. She did not fly a space mission. She’s an ultra rich tourist who went on a very expensive rollercoaster owned by a fascist-friendly First Amendment destroyer.

thanks for the rec - I went to netflix to just add it to my list of shows, decided to play a few minutes just to get it at the top of my "continue watching", and ended up watching the entire thing!

Yes, obv bot. No, not a stupid question. Yang is a horrible math communicator. I'm not great, but I think this is more useful. Decrease stock market by 10%: 10% of 100 = 10 100 - 10 = 90 Increase new stock market level of 90 by 10%: 10% of 90 = 9 90 + 9 = 99

I don't understand the district's reasoning for keeping Ogden and simply dropping the "Peter S.".

Thanks for explaining this to your friend. I was the same way, and it really wasn't until this administration that I clued in.

We don't get to make assumptions about what the Bible says. We can't assume he was kidding about either same-sex couples or whether to eat meat and dairy together, although that'd be nice.

Luke 23:34 "Then Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they're doing...'" aimed at the folks directly responsible for his crucifixion - soldiers, bystanders forced into helping, etc. Love at its core on Jesus' part. No mention whether the Father did any forgiving.

Is this about the move owning something like MS Outlook to leasing it? Or the change from owning a tractor you can repair yourself to owning a machine whose repair rights belong to the company?
