And I _know_ that the fund managers are idiots who weren't paying attention.

I fear that those in the cult will not change their behavior until they have lost something - comfort, community and/or livelihood. Expressing remorse is easy; changing your behavior is harder. How many of them still say they'd never vote for a Democrat, even now?

But would she vote for a Democrat? No? Then she hasn't learned anything, and hasn't regretted her (bad) choices.

Not really. It had a MIDI port, but I was working on a product that needed a cartridge port, which it did not have. The screen was low-contrast and I found it hard to read.

I used to work at a company called Hybrid Arts that developed MIDI and sound recording/editing hardware and software. One of the STacy portables was brought into the office when they became available, and all us engineers got no work done that day because - hey, new toy!

That cannot happen. Physics forbids it.

14, because it's my favorite number, but if it were 137 that would be awesome because it's my second favorite and I need an excuse to make popcorn.

I have also had a recurring dream about my old college campus, where I can explore corridors of rooms that don’t exist in real life. The dream architecture is the same from dream to dream, and it connects to the real buildings in the same way every time.

I have had a recurring dream where I start in a real version of London but if I enter a square with distinctive fountains I knew I could then proceed into a fantasy version of London. I found the square during a visit to London, but have never been able to find it on Street View since, naturally.

If someone touches my arm repeatedly, I make a point of going quiet, looking at my arm and then back at them. It seems to get the point across.

You are correct, and now I can’t stop hearing her say it that way. It might be time to re-watch Young Frankenstein.
