Despite improvements in the input system, I still think Rewired is a good investment for almost every project

I can't remember the last time opening up social media actually made me feel a bit better by seeing cool stuff instead of a general sense of dread
Here's hoping the good vibes last a while π

Didn't see @zarcattack.bsky.social on the list, I think his game Exophobia might fit the bill π

Celia's book has been on my to read list for a while, what did you think of it?

My absolute favorite is Elements of Game Design by Robert Zubek, it's a great entry point to game design in terms of establishing some vocabulary and basic concepts
Right now I'm reading Situational Game Design by Brian Upton which focuses on creating situations of play, also has a great gdc talk

Absolutely love that one by Fell, made it really quick to get back a bunch of people I used to follow on Twitter :)
If you're interested in more Niche stuff, Jorge from the Cozy games starter pack also made one for the Portuguese game industry π

I have some students interested in becoming narrative designers/writers, but I'm never quite sure what's the best way to break into the role except just making games
Do you have any tips for young students trying to get started?

I'm from Norway, and I'm a senior game designer at Ubisoft Singapore. I signed up here to follow and connect with people in the industry, especially those with a focus on game design, and I created a starter pack to make this particular task easier for others:
