Really important article in @foreignaffairs.com by former Ukrainian Defense Secretary Andriy Zagorodnyuk. Its about how Ukraine can fight on effectively without any US aid. It’s key to understand that Trump is full of BS when he says Ukraine has "no cards". www.foreignaffairs.com/ukraine/ukra...

A while back I was helping examine the security of the Starlink terminal and found a very obvious bug in the bootloader that was only unexploitable due to the memory layout of the terminal. Critical infrastructure shouldn't depend on Starlink without a shitload of auditing.

More Trump assistance to Putin

This is the first page of this morning’s edition of the Globe and Mail (arguably the English Canadian paper of record) I don’t remember seeing anything like this before

Through grim, cold and dark winters and dusty, hot summers, through the sacrifice and pain of war, you have played, and continue to play, a brave and historic role in opposing tyranny. Thank you, Ukraine. mickryan.substack.com/p/three-year...

Trump and Vance are not selling out Ukraine because of anything Zelenskyy said to them. Trump and Vance are selling out Ukraine because of things Putin and Musk said to them.

That a wartime president who courageously remained in his country despite being urged to leave, and has united and led his country since, is lectured on 'peace' and 'advantage' by a former military photographer and a draft dodger is a massive irony.

Ukraine Fact Sheet - February 21, 2025: isw.pub/UkraineFacts...

Hi All, just sent out my weekend update (free as always). The only way to understand the USA and its interactions with Russia, Ukraine and Europe is to accept that the US is now a mafia state. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

European Parliament member 👇🏽

Kamala was right. And it only took him less than 30 days to roll over for Putin.

Hi All--a double barrelled post I hope you will find very important (and all free). First a comment on what we saw from Trump last night. The USA is now an open enemy of democracy--and needs to be understood as such. Also, Paul Krugman and I have a video chat. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

DOGE recommended firing workers at: -FDA, which oversees Neuralink -FAA, which oversees SpaceX -USAID, which probed Starlink -CFPB, which oversees Tesla's financing arm and a potential payment platform on X. "Conflict of interest" is a severe understatement.

white nationalist men are too emotional to be in charge

A dictatorship that kills people from democracies if they say something inconvenient hosting another dictatorship that does the same and a country run by a wannabe dictator who wants people jailed for saying anything inconvenient gathered to decide the fate of a democracy that wasn’t even invited?

“You should have never started it.” Such ignominious ignorance. Such betrayal of our ally. Such a cowardly surrender.

Marco Rubio's collaboration with Russia's Sergei Lavrov and Putin is one of the most disgusting acts of betrayal to democracy and our nation. Rubio has secured his place in history of infamy.

if you were accidentally fired while transporting a nuclear warhead and currently need a place to stay with said warhead please know that i have a sizable backyard and an abiding desire to be a nuclear power

Crockett: "It's just that they're idiots. These are the same guys as it relates to our nuclear stockpile, they're like, 'Oh, wait a minute, we needed those guys? Can we get them back? Oh, we don't know how to.' I don't know how anyone can look at this administration & feel a semblance of confidence"

The impending Trump sell-out of Ukraine has no basis in any genuine US interest. Pro-Trump foreign-policy "realism" (so called) is a corrupt exercise in confecting excuses for a disgrace and disaster based entirely on the shadowy and sinister Trump-Putin connection.

Europe is still in the denial stage of grieving. There is no choice between defending Ukraine and another European country in a post-USA/NATO world. The defense of Europe’s free states is a whole and needs to be understood as such. www.thetimes.com/world/europe...

Premier Tim Houston's government is using its supermajority in the legislature to give itself the power to fire the auditor general without cause and make reports from the office private. #nspoli www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Conclusion: Trump's betrayal of Ukraine under the pretence of ending the war he now insinuates Ukraine started, is all about giving the exhausted and demoralized Russians time, and an end to sanctions, to help Putin rearm.

King Charles, in his own royal diplomatic way, applauds Canada's sovereignty and honoured place in the world. www.gg.ca/en/media/new...

Fact check: nearly 70 percent of US money for Ukraine actually went to US defense industry to replenish the stocks of OLD stuff that went to Ukraine to use. Much of which we would have paid to destroy as their lifespan expired.

Be very wary of believing that Trump is always erratic, Trump has no strategy, etc. Actually, he has been very consistent in the last few weeks--he has reached out constantly to Putin to work out a deal and has made always made concessions to Putin alone. Its been one way travel

The total estimated savings when using Cost Plus Drugs compared to Medicare was $462,375,491.53 and $618,833,850.34 for 30- and 90-count pricing, respectively. The price of a 42.5-gram tube of vaginal estrogen cream was $22.48 on Cost Plus Drugs, compared to $293.66 through Medicare Part D. #econsky
