Mine too. Apparently he was trying to be ā€˜down with kidsā€™ by wearing a bucket hatā€¦

Weā€™re normally in North tier 2 and we were on the fourth row of the South Stand on Sunday. The camber on the pitch still isnā€™t great but it was good to get a different perspective and to hear Amorim loosing the plot with some of them!

Thanks mate. Summed up the mood! Play well today šŸ‘

Haha! Itā€™s so shit. The keeper is worse than Leighton and those two big lumps in attack are more of a hindrance than a help. I was ready to jump the fence and perform an intervention when I clocked him bringing Lindelof on šŸ¤Ŗ

Made a nice change for us today. The managersā€™ high pitched rants actually kept me awake for most of it. Had to refrain from politely but loudly asking ā€˜what the fuck are you thinkingā€™ when he brought Lindelof on!

There's some obvious issues with those defenders but they'd look so much better without that idiot behind them spreading panic at every opportunity. Similar to Leighton 89-90.

Iā€™d love to see the young kid given a chance but could do a lot more harm chucking him in with those dickheads.

Offers nothing. Unfortunately the alternatives arenā€™t likely to offer much more.

Squad player, heā€™ll do for now but will need upgrading.

Thatā€™s enough for me. Forlan-esque

Spot on, his presence makes us so much worse. It was clear after the Champions League last season his team mates werenā€™t having him.

It clearly wonā€™t apply to all players. But if heā€™s saying his system wonā€™t work with these players and he needs specialists then thereā€™s every chance the next one will say the same šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

And it looked pretty daft at the time šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
comment in response to post
And Utd havenā€™t got a pot to piss in so he wonā€™t get the players he need and the ones he does get for his system will need replacing for the next bloke. Rinse and repeat. Marvellous šŸ™„
comment in response to post
Hope youā€™re right! Patience is desperately needed at home but it will be irrelevant if he isnā€™t given the tools.
comment in response to post
I really hope so and thatā€™s all we can do but still worry they panicked and have set him up to fail. Weā€™re not set-up to produce youngsters suitable for his system and they donā€™t have the money for the necessary squad rebuild.
comment in response to post
Really like him and obviously hope he can make it work but itā€™s destined to fail again if they canā€™t/wont back him in any meaningful way. Promoting kids that play a completely different system every week isnā€™t likely to fix things either.

Agreed. The Glazers are clearly the root cause of the current mess but the decision to stick with ETH made things so much worse. Ridiculous that fans are now literally paying the price for that.
comment in response to post
Not at all. I was arguing that saying ā€˜Utd being 15th is unacceptableā€™ for a club of our size isnā€™t being ā€˜spoiltā€™ or ā€˜enitledā€™.
comment in response to post
Fuck knows!? Until the Glazers have gone nothing is likely to change. But I donā€™t think itā€™s spoilt or entitled to say this is shite/unacceptable.
comment in response to post
It takes ā€˜Brewsters Millionsā€™ levels of mismanagement to be the biggest and be this bad, however infrequent.
comment in response to post
Agree to an extent but surely itā€™s all relative. Thereā€™s no excuse for a club the size of Utd (or Spurs for that matter) to be this shite. I donā€™t believe that expecting ā€˜the biggest club in the countryā€™ to finish above 15th is spoilt or entitled.
comment in response to post
Bottom three/four are that bad we should be OK but best we can hope for is probably 16th. What a shit show.
comment in response to post
The worry is the same thing is likely to happen with Dorgu/Heaven. if they don't hit the ground running whilst playing in an awful side devoid of any sort of leadership they'll be written off as shite. It's already happening with Yoro.
comment in response to post
The pressure at Utd and the current mood at OT would see them crucified after a couple of poor performances and most won't come back from that. It's a concern with the (long overdue) shift in transfer strategy towards younger players with high potential ā€“ big expectations and bugger all patience.
comment in response to post
Weā€™ll have to sign cheap/potential but weā€™re then gambling on them flourishing in a dreadful side playing in a really negative environment. Suspect the patience required will quickly run out when they inevitably struggle.

They go into more detail in the book about what happened to the kids in the wake of her disappearance and the impact itā€™s had on their lives since - itā€™s heartbreaking.
comment in response to post
Yeah. itā€™s much more about ā€˜the disappearedā€™ and the wider issues surrounding their impact. It doesnā€™t focus on Dolours Price as much as the TV show (despite her being on the cover!).
comment in response to post
Itā€™s very good. The book is even better šŸ‘šŸ»
comment in response to post
Defo worth considering in the Summer if we can get big money and that results in a decent striker. But a last minute cut price sale to balance the books could leave us really short for the rest of the season.
comment in response to post
Bit of both surely. Ultimately itā€™s on the Glazers but the decision to hire/sack Ashworth and keep/sack ETH has tipped us into an area where we have to sell now.
comment in response to post
Spot on. It really shouldnā€™t need saying.
comment in response to post
Agreed. Although Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll be calling him all sorts when my season ticket goes up 20%! So much needs to change and itā€™s likely to be painful in the short term. Optics on the ETH/Ashworth debacle obviously didnā€™t help but some of the changes are long overdue.
