@schumer.senate.gov explain to the people what's going on. Help them understand what you're trying to avoid. If you're so committed to this path, and you're certain that this is the best choice, you should be able to rally others to your cause. But we're mostly just confused. What are you doing?!

He's really a terrible communicator. He claims a shutdown would be worse than the current status quo, yet can't explain to people HOW? WHY? WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE? It's so frustrating! He's not making his position or his rationale clear enough to the public to rally any support.
