Stats I think it’s time you go in Bill Simmons pod. Maybe buy that voice changer.

The scariest pitching prospects are the ones that make it to the majors and then immediately get hurt. Not only is it a question on if they are good when they come back, but if they are good you just burned too pre-arb years.

The way I see it is this teams effective payroll is 40+ million lower because the Story / Yoshida money is being set on fire. Explains more why we suck. Chaim did fine with the farm but both those contracts are major black eyes

If I was a GM I would just sign Chapman every off-season and trade him at the deadline for a haul.

But emails told a different tale.
Reports were tweaked, the numbers underplayed,
Transparency began to fail.

Cuomo Sent COVID to the Seniors 🎶
(To the tune of "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer")
Verse 1
Cuomo sent COVID to the seniors,
Back in March of twenty-twenty’s gloom.
He said, “They’ll be just fine in nursing homes,”
But the virus spread and sealed their doom.

In your world are we shipping Duran / Buehler / Chapman (maybe even Refsynder) at the deadline?

I think they have done KC a real disservice moving him everywhere. I think his best position is going to end up centerfield and everything will get better if they let him heal from this rib thing.

Honestly this team has the top end talent. I think we are really feeling the effects of not selling at any of the previous deadlines to bolster the above average players on this team.

One tangential thing I have mulling in the back of my brain is that from a politics point of view, the current Dem coalition could navigate a balanced budget amendment to the constitution better than the Republican coalition, similiar to how voter id laws might be a net + for democrats

Hes so ready but getting him on the field involves trading Hamilton or Rafaela (which I think wouldn't be a bad idea if Hamilton could get is a bullpen arm).

Stats has Raffys swing speed recovered this season? Or still concerning?

you personally could have gotten rid of him any time between 2020 and 2024. Why didn't you try? We saw how lax the security was at his rallies. Insane right-wingers tried to get rid of him more than you did.

But the insane thing is that the net loser high income workers who most consumed news (and thus could link Big Fiscal to their reduced economic status) stayed with Kamala the hardest.

I feel like I am taking crazy pills but isn't the best Red Sox lineup with Devers third/Bregman at 2nd/ Masa at DH?
Isnt that better then Devers at DH and then hamilton at 2nd?

What is the problem with mega-developers? They create lots of apartment with probably lower costs than smaller buildings. YIMBY policies would help small builders by, among other ways, reducing legal costs but I think mega developers would be a net good in a world where they have to actually compete

National conservatism is a project to reverse engineer a coalition that bans abortion and anything not straight. Everything else are just lies to hold that coalition together

The defense on this chief's team is amazing, this is not a Lebron Cleveland level achievement. Was Brady 01 a that type of achievement

Yes, it's the chiefs gameplan. Not the 10 points that the refs gave the chiefs

Does Campbell have the wheels to play center? Both the infield and outfield get pretty crowded if we sign Bregman (I still want us to just sign Burnes / Flaherty and then trade Kutter or something)
