Bray. Seaside town, about 20ish miles outside Dublin. Tidy.

Lovely tribute. Fine, fine words.

Another person who admired her from afar, and interacted through the amazing web of govt digital folks. If you posted a question Vicky would try and help, unfailingly. Smart and generous. She will be missed.

That is such sad news.

I used to wrap to White Christmas, but this year it’s been The Santa Claus 1 & 2 and I’ve still not finished. And I’ve got 2 working arms. Next year square gifts only. Trying to wrap a Squishmallow almost ended me.

We were talking about it yesterday. Advice is ‘don’t use WhatsApp for this, use Teams’. Like anything else with shadow systems, it’s hard to know the extent of usage. The answer is to make systems as usable as WhatsApp, etc, but also safe and secure. Not sure that happens enough!

So pretty.

That is scary good. When you know you know, but it’s so worrying for those that don’t!

And also makes sense. 80%+ of all healthcare happens in primary care. PC doesn’t get 80% of the funding. Or even close. PC has a purpose and it isn’t to take the strain from hospitals. Likewise social care isn’t there to do that either. The balance of investment is wrong.

Not exactly. Third time was not lucky. About 10 days in and still pretty rough. Onwards though! And I’m definitely going to be paying for a booster next year!

Agreed, consistent and persistent would be good. And it’s wider than primary care, add in social care, mental health, police, etc. People are weird, they don’t follow a designated route through health and care. Nor do they stay in the same place - forever.

It’s not for me. I’d rather 3 small/medium ones…I’m getting a bit of vertigo looking at that! Hope it works for you.

There was a disturbance in the force. You could chuck a saddle on some of them. HUGE.

Our practice numbers are falling with more patients being spread across the ones that are left…increasing the pressure. The job has changed. It’s not what they signed up for anymore. Worrying times.

So you can hear them coming…I swear you can hear them coming.
