And before anyone QT's me with posts about American work culture - I'm Jewish, it's not my holiday, and I don't work on weekends, or the many Jewish holidays in the fall (and later in the spring). Just trying to write my book, man...

Contemporary: The Sunset Years of Agnes Sharp by Leonie Swann (her first book, Three Bags Full is brilliant). If you like historical cozy mysteries: Ashley Weaver's Electra McDonnell series, Allison Montclair's Sparks & Bainbridge series, Jennifer Ashley's Below Stairs series.

I consulted for a Texas organization figuring out how to respond to earlier draft of this curriculum, and it's not shoddy scholarship, it's complete fiction. Like the last 100 years of people thinking seriously about the Bible just never happened.

Apologies - you'll have to figure out the time and place yourself. Ever since I started working on fetal personhood, I've become more cautious about posting times/locations for my talks online.

I don't know what dirtbag medievalism means, but now I desperately want to.
