Carney’s tax cut will help Canadians with more, faster #cdnpoli

Goodnight Osprey on Elbow River today.

LMAOOOO, they baited the podium 🤣🤣🤣

Happy Earth Day Quit fucking up the planet for money You know who you are

So here is a plan. If you have it you can keep it but nobody else allowed. That’s called cutting the program. Pharmacare, dental care, school lunches. Let’s face it ALL SOCIAL PROGRAMS are in the block.

Just received the vinyl test pressings of my brand new album! Pretty dang excited! RS

US Senator Van Hollen has been able to successfully meet with Kilmer Abrego Garcia.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat. This is so obviously unconstitutional. Kidnapping, pure and simple

You want to know why Danielle Smith is doing everything she can to distract you from the total FU of the #UCP. Alberta’s unemployment rate saw the highest growth in the country, according to Statistics Canada’s (StatCan) calgary.citynews.ca/2025/04/06/a...

Stephen knows that Skippy is losing and he would hate to see his third puppet go down to defeat. He has never recovered from Trudeau handing him his Ass on a silver platter.

Well, I did it.. I deactivated my Twitter account Here's the "heads up" note I posted there a few days ago RS

Chuck Schumer: "Consumers are saying, 'If these tariffs are gonna hit, I better not go on that vacation to see Grandma. I better not buy that new car. I better not, you know, upgrade the groceries I'm buying.'" Go to visit Grandma? Upgrade the groceries? JFC. This guy has gotta go.

I have no respect for ANY athlete that visits this White House. You are unAmerican if you do so, as is anyone who supports or enables this administration. Let me repeat that. You actions are in *direct* opposition to the Declaration of Independence.

What kind of ego does one have to have to have their name down the side of a 737. You guessed it ego maniac @PierrePoilievre just like his Orange Buddy. I checked a few places and the cost to paint a 737 is over $100,000 but Skippy could not afford to let the press fly with him.

If you know anyone planning to get their child live rabbits for Easter, please talk them out of it. Tell them to get a stuffed toy and sponsor a rescue bunny instead! 🐇 www.merrymacfarmsanctuary.org/meet-the-bun...

One man just wiped out $10 trillion in wealth, is destroying centuries-old legal protections, and seems determined to unravel humanity’s greatest public health achievement. In 3 months. I don’t know how we get out of this. But if we do, one person can never have that kind of power again.

A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die. Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.

On April 7, we remember the Humboldt Broncos, and especially Logan Boulet, whose decision to become an organ donor helped save six lives and sparked a national movement that encouraged thousands to register as donors. We wear green today as a solemn act of remembrance and of hope. 💚

You would have to be a complete idiot to believe this garbage from Trump. Be patient? WTAF

"Can you confirm this is not a climate or "environmental justice" project or include such elements?" I did my MSc and PhD research with help from Canada's #NSERC, and I hope this can continue for future generations of climate researchers. @katharinehayhoe.com www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Please ignore tired pieces in publications like the Atlantic that are still trying to stigmatize mask wearing. Wearing a mask to prevent sickness from airborne viruses is a science-informed position, and it has been that way for over 100 years.

I’ve arrived at Radio-Canada for “Cinq chefs, une élection”. Let’s go!

"There are whole businesses devoted to risk analysis for corporations; here is a situation where Trump himself is the risk and the crisis being analyzed is one created by him," writes @sbg1.bsky.social www.newyorker.com/news/letter-...

Cory Booker showed us what courage looks like by standing up and speaking out in one’s town square. He showed us how it can help shape reality. He demonstrated that it can inspire others and thus can make a real difference in the fight for democracy. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/the-...

Turns out the world‘s richest man is just not that popular, maybe that would change if he gave money to things like childhood cancer research instead of cutting it

How is spending billions on an unnecessary, hostile takeover of Greenland compatible with "cost-cutting" and "efficiency"? www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

If you are worried about disinformation and media manipulation in this election give a pass to @ctvnews-rss.bsky.social They caved to pressure from Pierre Poiievre's online posse in their continual harassment of @rachelgilmore.bsky.social. She is a truth teller. pressprogress.ca/ctv-cancelle...

New, from me: Elon Musk is the biggest loser in Wisconsin. His brazen effort to buy a state supreme court did not just fail - it undermined his image of political kingmaker. This is the clearest indicator that voters are angry with Trump/Musk agenda. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/the-bigges...

No lies told here.

After criticizing Zelensky's White House attire, I look forward to GOP/Fox News criticism of Kid Rock dressing like a 4th of July float f*cked a NASCAR driver.

Pushback works, part gazillion: "Here are the facts: DOGE moved forward with plans to close multiple field offices. Then, without public notice or explanation, they reversed their plans. Now they are trying to pretend like they were never planning to close the offices." popular.info/p/how-the-so...

Happy One Month Anniversary to this story.

SCOOP: A WIRED review of public data shows that national security adviser Mike Waltz, White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, and other top officials left sensitive information exposed via Venmo—until WIRED asked about it.

This is Yale Professor Timothy Snyder, who studies authoritarians and tyranny, with a warning. He and another Yale professor, Jason Stanley, who studies similar topics at Yale, are moving to Canadian universities, a result of the political and academic climate here.

The real story is that unnamed unknown Yemeni children died as a result of that cringe Signal disaster. Somehow that seems to be lost in all this.

With all the concern about what messaging app was used by our leaders, I'd love it if we also considered that we dropped bombs on a civilian apartment building and killed 53 people. Some number of whom were children. If another country did this to the United States, we'd call it a war crime.

Just look at how sanctimonious these Christian Nationalists get when they are killing people.

anyway calling these "war plans" when they were actually plans to blow up an apartment building full of civilians because the girlfriend of a guy we don't like lived there sounds more like "terrorism plans" or perhaps even more accurately "terrorism factory creation plans"

Auto parts cross the Canada-U.S. border six times on average before final assembly. In a trade crisis, that’s a vulnerability.   It’s time to build more cars right here at home with an All-In-Canada auto manufacturing network.
