There is no remote chance that we get money out of politics during our lifetime. They own the Supreme Court and a slim majority of the American people are selfish, racist, misogynist cowards. We need to prepare to survive and fight the oligarchy that has owned us for a long ass time.

Bridges has gotten off to a slow start while adjusting to a new team with many moving parts. He is already showing signs of being just fine.

If he was going to do this he should have done them all at once and included the Hunter Biden pardon in the mix. He would have at least been able to argue that the pardon was part of a broader need to shield people from Trump's vengence.

and here's the thing: I have no doubt that desantis and rubio and bondi will be slavishly loyal to trump. but they are also *ambitious* and have an interest in their own careers as well as that of the republican party. this introduces a tension into the administration (that can be exploited)

It is certainly not going to change Trump’s behavior or the hypocrisy of the Republican Party. It does deliver a disingenuous but very effective talking point to the Trump cult. Perhaps that no longer matters either.

Classic. This is what Ann Richards said about GW Bush sue. He was running against her for TX Governor. It was true.

Todd Snyder has a great sale going right now. Also, I recently listened to your podcast on Crimson Tide. It was very enjoyable. Thanks.

Come on now. I need a fountain coke, greasy food and a day with nothing to do but watch old movies.

I think we should be careful not to let things get ugly between the fans and Bridges. He’s going to play better. I don’t want to see fans booing him at MSG. Let’s support him.

That seems like stupid money for Snell. Obviously the Dodgers do not care.

What I see (and refuse to do myself) are people who make money by writing on politics—journalists, substackers, political consultants, nonfiction authors, pundits and more—pretending their attacks on fellow progressives are principled when they're self-preserving and capitalistic. It's contemptible.
