I hope they're setting up a worldwide spell-chain. Wiccans, Elementals, Traditionals, Native, all the Voodoo practitioners... all releasing intention at the same moment! That might do it!

I've had to be excused from jury duty before on the basis of my anxiety and depression, so I totally understand. I also hope you aren't required and you get to be 'on standby' all week, with a good book/binge watch!

You were both wonderful in that series. Can't believe he's been gone so long. Such a loss.

They are so beautiful. I'm glad they found that joy in the face of society's cruelty. Thanks for letting us share them.

I think they need to be redirected to the numerous times Agent Orange and his crotch goblins have threatened violence and actually had violence carried out on their behalf. Musk is no better, although his language is more... erm... euphemistic.

I've followed you for a long time, and your love and grief for Jaime never fail to move me. You shine a bright light on the reality of what the families of school shooting victims go through. I'm from the UK. Dunblane changed our gun laws forever and kept the NRA out. Keep fighting. Keep hoping.

Hasn't Musk got, like, 10 kids? Why do we only ever see him with this one? I'm guessing when X gets too heavy for shield duty he'll be replaced by a younger sibling!

Hope she hurries up! She'll be tons better than the current lot. And waaaay cuter!

I am extremely familiar with this phenomenon. I have a fortune's worth of shiny equipment for a diverse range of hobbies and crafts - all used precisely once. But I can't sell them because if my interest reignites I'd have to buy them all again, only to use them precisely once!

Wow. That's disgraceful. I hope trans people are able to endure until saner times. Please hang in there - we see you, we have your backs, and this madness isn't forever. Your allies won't stop fighting, with you and for you, until this is made right.

...yet historically, it can be recognised in some of the most driven individuals who ever lived. Their differences are society's strength, and without them and their ability to think laterally and do things differently, any degree of enlightenment may well have eluded us.

In the past autistic people were written off as odd, antisocial, misfits... or worse. Read any book on the history of science and scientists, and you'll see many great intellectual pioneers who display distinctly autistic traits. Similarly, ADHD is only just being fully recognised and diagnosed...

That's no 'gentlelady'. That's a bigoted, nasty creature abusing her position and privilege.

Love that the toy is perfectly placed to maximise the tripping hazard and ensure there's no gap.

He's a man who speaks real sense with both empathy and understanding. I'd love to see him lead us through the chaos with his logic and humanity - such a contrast to everything MAGA stands for. He's one of the few I truly like and respect.

We absolutely mustn't go down the path of appeasement. It was that policy that emboldened the Nazis and legitimised Hitler's plan to take Europe. Our leaders have to robustly reject Trump's invasion plans. Unfortunately, I fear they won't. History is just the same play with different actors.

Interestingly, the last Conservative government in the UK attacked civil servants here, claiming they were rabid leftists working to sabotage them. It seems that demonising the people who are the vital moving parts of the government machine is a whole chapter in the fascist playbook.

I find it crazy that the people who claim to be most opposed to government interference, and who doggedly embrace libertarian ideals, have actually ushered in the framework for potentially the most intrusive governance in US history.

So much more money in fascism. If democracy was half as profitable, they'd be clamouring to support it instead. Now, there'll be government contracts for all the tech required for surveillance and control of fungible economic units, a.k.a. 'people'.

Idiotic. My 32A boobs fed my son generously, with extra to pump and freeze, while my friend's G cups produced barely a drop for her daughter. There's no correlation between breast size and milk production.

At the time sex with detainees was not expressly illegal in that state, allowing the officers to claim consent. The loophole has now been closed but not in time to make a difference for this young woman.

The rape and kidnap charges were dropped... they got 5 years probation for basically accepting a bribe and got to quit their jobs instead of being fired in disgrace! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from NYPD, both by individual officers and as an institution. The prosecutors also let her down.

'Generally' instead of 'genuinely' is a pet peeve of mine. It seems particularly rife in the south of England, but it's spreading! Totally changes the meaning of a sentence; "I genuinely care," versus "I generally care."

I lost my darling Dad in March this year. I don't know that I'll ever recover fully. I wish your parent a peaceful passing, and send condolences to those left behind.

It'll take decades and multiple generations for the world to recover from the environmental carnage this idiot's going to unleash. Elon's going to kill the planet under the pretence of saving it with his electric rust buckets and exploding rockets. It's a mandate for unscrupulous business practices.

To be fair, the UK's had its share of Russian interference, particularly in the Brexit vote. I have no doubt Farage, leader of our far right political faction, is a Russian stooge. His closeness to Agent Orange, and Musk's sudden desire to see him in power too, stink of collusion.

Since when has being obliged to date diners on demand been part of the job? This is sexual harassment, pure and simple, and his manager needs to tell this woman she's banned from the establishment. Her entitlement to request escort services on behalf of her daughter, then withhold a tip, is crazy!

As a basic rule of thumb, I generally try not to wish death on people. However, there's a small sub-group of individuals in human history that our race (and the planet) would be better off without. In those cases, I wouldn't be mad if 'fate' found them and cleansed the timeline. He's one.

Welcome to 'The Good Place'. I hope your experience here is a positive one and salves your soul after that horror I saw directed at you on the other place.
