This is 100% The Drowning Man all over again. “Why didn’t you save me, God?”
“I sent you a boat/truck/helicopter.” What else could I do?”
The same applies to science.

I’ve got three grumpy teenage bonus kids this thanksgiving. I’ll take 30000000 books, please. Need to increase my odds of winning.

Like a narcissist, the only way to deal with them is to grey rock/ignore.

My partner cut out sugar/caffeine/processed foods due to Hashimoto’s and holy crap, you could see a difference in his body in only two weeks.

This is like telling your wife you’re tired when she’s been in labor for 16 hours. Never, ever a good idea. Glad to see you’re still alive, though.

I used to think “know your enemy” was a good way to stay informed. I didn’t necessarily engage, but I rarely blocked. After this election, I know all I need to about the people I disagree with. I’ve already pre-blocked people I’ve seen posting here.

Dude has had three wives and still doesn’t understand women and what they’re capable of doing.

I remember those wonderful days…all the alcohols nightly and I could still function the next day. Two alcohols now and I’m shitfaced, plus it takes me 48 hours to recover.

Yeah…I know it’s a smart thing to do given all the BS and uncertainty, but damn, I’m pissed that I even need to worry/think about it.

Saw him at 12th & Broadway ages ago (near the Strand Bookstore). He’s fabulous.

Not going to lie. The only silver lining for me in this epically disastrous shit show is the fact that I live in California. I may come through the next four years with some of my rights still intact. I realize what a privilege it is to be able to say that. Plenty of folks aren’t so lucky.

It’s already set up and ready to go. Just one push of a button and manna from heaven magically appears.

I vividly remember the day of the theater premiere. My friend and I got tattoos from a dude named Gator, did some day drinking and then went to see it. Still love that film to this day.

I do this, with the addition of eating it all in bed. We call it Bed Picnic night in my house.

West Coast representing. 👋🏻 It may be expensive here in Southern California, but at least we’ll be relatively protected from the madness that will happen elsewhere. Send anyone who needs out my way! I’m in.

My friends and I used to go to this place in Brooklyn that would keep pouring the bottomless mimosas as long as there was still food on your plate. I quickly learned how to cut my French toast into minuscule pieces. 😂

I came to this show late in the game, but damn, I’m glad I found it. Was stoked to hear a second season was coming out so soon after I watched the first. It’s gorgeous AND brilliant.

I hate pew pews. They terrify me. My partner has been trying to talk me into getting one for personal/home protection for a while (he’s a responsible owner who can train me properly). I’ve resisted until this week. Never thought I’d see this day come and I honestly don’t think it’s an overreaction.

Things currently in my notes app (at 50+), and I don’t know why they’re there:
1) I don’t negotiate with terrorists (I’m assuming this one is about the kids)
2) Blood Chemistry Panel
3) Meat club membership
4) Hide beers in giant Easter eggs.

It was easier than I thought it would be. Took a day for my data download to become available and as soon as I got that, I hit deactivate. I thought the “we’re sorry to see you go” at the end was pretty funny. As with all things, life goes on.
