Which the US had it's own big messes for over a century after founding, but eventually we found *something* that worked in a way that could be stable...stable enough.... ...stable but with just enough cracks for another mess to happen.

Even if the US was "technically" first, so many of it's ideas were swimming around in the heads of influential French anti-monarchist long before. Their American "Genuine Pig" pulled it off, so they went, "Okay, time to put theory into practice with some extra lessons!" Which created it's own mess.

Canada is close, but I consider France more the US's mentor figure that we betrayed. Considering how many of the Founding Fathers were flouncing around France's philosophical circles. France helping the US was one part "Spite the British" and one part "test if society can function without a king."

Man fuck Fetterman for ruining my dreams of a "Pritzker/Fetterman" Presidential run because it would be very funny to look at them standing side by side.

We're the nation of workaholics ruining everything for everyone else here.

All of these armchair revolutionaries are literally doing less. All revolutionaries do is sit around screaming "Why wouldn't someone (else) start the violent revolution!? Well I'm not voting democrat then." And then cede more ground to the Rs.

Yknow the Terms of Service you check when you sign up is going to be like "We are not liable if we don't show up." It's going to never get used, until the moment it DOES, they are unprepared to respond quickly enough. But until then, collect money of scared rich people I guess.

He literally could stop doing everything, bedrot in his house for a month, and be fine. Poor people can't do that.

Didn't they just get through saying the Covid Checks caused inflation and were pissed away by the poor? What's different this time?

The scope of destruction possible in 1864 was much smaller, plus the slower and more limiting democratic process by tech at the time. It makes holding elections a fair bit different.

Do we know if those parties were Russian planted sympathizers? It's funny to think how in WW2, the US didn't have term limits yet. If FDR had to drop out in the height of WW2, would we have elected a "pro nazi" candidate? FDR was hated by corporations, many of them nazi sympathizers.

Oh my god I'm about to blow you mind. **This was super close to canon and executive meddling ruined it** This got replaced in the movie by a pop song. "Princess of Family" is canon www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oMY...

See Also: Erhard Seminars Training. Catholics rebranded this "Socratic" method into "Kairos" because "it sounds greek.:
comment in response to post
Look up how Catholics rebranded "Large Group Awareness Training", which they called Satanic, into something they can use to mentally break catholic school kids into jesus loving trauma victims. "Kairos" and "Catholic High School" are keywords to search here.

On what authority?! Can I just walk into a random government building and say "I'm a private business and I say you are all fired!" They can just say no!

All talk about how "Every man should get what they deserve with their own strength" and completely blind to the fact that he's been carried his whole life aside from some football.
comment in response to post
He's just sorta running down vague platitudes of anarchism and libertarianism. All boiling down to "If you want something, you deserve it if your strong enough to take it." How and where that strengths manifest he leaves vague. He doesn't write his own speeches. He didn't make nano machines.

Wild that a city as iconically yuppie as San Fran would have no skepticism of DOGE, which is NOT a government organization. I hope that shit wouldn't fly in Illinois.

Is it a wholesome moment or a dark moment if she turns into her dead husband...
comment in response to post
Part of it might be because she *technically* lied to him, but also... She wouldn't get a chance to prove herself if she didn't lie to em...

I actually am down with the idea that they are freaky Mushroom/human hobbit like hybrids. I used to think Peach was human sized and Mario was short. The Mario Odyssey stands Peach next to Pauline and Peach is ALSO short?! They BOTH are hobbit people!

The ultimate privatization is the privatization of currency itself. People think the Fed has over-reach on the value of a dollar, but even the biggest Fed Printing Horror story has nothing on what two billionaires could do with a simple agreed on pump and dump.

Go huff moral-ego farts you arm chair leftist. You only want clout and "punch up" while people suffer right next to you. Not voting is a vote for Trump. Take some lumps for your lack of political optics. Good luck with cheerleading the "revolution". Every drop of Gazan blood must be worth it.

It's funny that his character would, on it's own, might be seen as "too obvious" a ship in terms of chemistry...too similar. BUT! It's played by LITERALLY WEIRD AL, literally everything is forgiven. It's a W for everyone in involved. They are two blessed sillies that deserve each other.

Sometimes I think about how much potential Chrys had to truly traumatize her father before the wedding and it's really sad.

I love Glover but I'm eternally baffled by how much the IP owners think it's worth. Glover's whole history is "Wow it sold great, but we accidentally ordered millions more copies to be produced then we could ever sell, so it's a loss"

Love how Dash is the adult in the room that could stop this and decides, "Nah, this will be hilarious."

So glad you voted for "more" genocide by putting one vote for Trump. Because now we have it abroad and Trump, who you voted for by note voting, is gearing up to have more genocide at home! Didn't Vote = Vote for MORE Genocide and Suffering on earth. Only Harris Voters voted for "less Genocide."
comment in response to post
You voted for Trump. See we all have 2 votes actually. Fun fact! You can put 2 votes for Harris. You can put 2 Vote for Trump. You can not Vote, which means 1 vote for Trump, and 1 vote for Harris! Or you can vote 3rd Party, who proceeds to do the same as not voting. You voted for Trump!
comment in response to post
You voted for Trump. You voted for "two genocides".

Makes sense. Tirek has canonical daddy issues. Cozy...has a disapointing lack of back story tbh but I see nothing that can't be handled with therapy. Chrys is actually "spawned evil", there's no history to pull on. No traumatic moment to break through. She was "born this way" in her words...

Hire one voice actor to be in a booth for a week (Pay one person) or Have an AI voice do it, but then need a team of audio engineers correct all the weird inflections, hiccups, and errors the AI makes (Pay many people.) So we are making "more jobs" because....AI does things worse then people?
