Maybe but damn I'm glad to hear them be mad...maybe this will wake them up?

It doesn’t matter what democrats do. Rural America will find a way to blame the people who are trying to find and reward those who make their lives harder

Democrats HAVE been talking about economic issues. Rural folks just haven't been listening. Or they're listening to the wrong source.

so, then, I have to ask. Why support a guy who outright said he was going to cut if not outright eliminate any and all programs that address exactly the concerns you outlined?

Roads, schools, hospitals, internet…
All cost $$$. Where does the $$$ come from? Republicans get elected by saying they won’t raise taxes.

Absolutely - Republican states deliberately tank their institutions to prove that big government doesn't work. Guess what - it works when you fund it!

Maybe because one of his baby mamas is calling him out right now on his own $44b site.

Exactly. Every dictator in history has either been a far right capitalist extremist or a far left socialist extremist. They are two sides of the same degenerate coin. Socialism and capitalism are both necessary and they should moderate each other. That's how it is in all the greatest countries.

The only people I care about are Harris voters/people who weren't eligible to vote. They're going to get hurt by MAGA stupidity but no sympathy for the ones who ushered it in.

You have opportunity after opportunity to create something lovely for yourself or others. Every moment you choose to sit and think about horrors beyond your control, every time you make the choice to look for more and more details about just HOW bad... you are turning away from those opportunities.

This excerpt is from Joyce Vance's newsletter. These are literally words to live by.

And yet they did, and if worst fears are realized, history will very much see it that way. It's infantalizing to pretend Americans broadly didn't know who Trump is, or what he represents, or what he plans to do. They did, they just didn't care. We shouldn't excuse Americans their awful decisions.

Right? I'm so over the "Joe Biden didn't do everything I wanted / everything imaginable" chorus. FFS, he's been one of the most successful American Presidents, especially given he only served one term. One man can't do everything.

No they are not walking the same path because they are sill being given every advantage possible and still can't do it. Women were forced to be 100 times better than anyone else in order to succeed and then sometimes weren't allowed to.

No their PARENTS failed them because sports, video games & bullying are more important than education, respect, hard work and civility. The remedy in this country is always to punish women and girls. These MEN need to get off their ass and work for things like everyone else has to.

This is the price you pay when masculine mediocrity is praised and rewarded while exceptional women are continually told they are not good enough

Looking back from the first day of Kamala’s campaign to the last day. Disappointing doesn’t begin to describe the emotion.
She gave us her very best.

WTF do you want her to do? She busted her ass for 100 days trying to tell Americans the truth about all they’ve done for the last 4 years and how Trump was going to tear it all down. STUPID people in the media decided to treat this like a normal election.

Never ever underestimate an Elder Woman, we don’t worry about losing our careers or what others think, our muzzles are off and the spirit we have had that fought for women’s rights 50 years ago is still alive and pissed.

Good for her. That fool will think twice next time he approaches an older woman.

Additional point to make: When that punk justifies deportation because people are here illegally, tell him we should first prosecute all the Americans & American companies that BREAK THE LAW by HIRING undocumented workers.

I still think the whole thing was staged. Trump hasn't said a word about the guy who supposedly try to kill him but he's still whining about Fauci and Liz Cheney for stuff they said... yeah right.

Econ should be a a mandatory high-school course! It is unbelievable 😳 that people (over half our country) do not understand basic economics.

I am so damn tired of hearing this. The amount of money Elonia spent on misinformation targeted to specific groups is impossible to counteract. Reform to campaign financing is needed. Reverse Citizens United is top priority.

This election result isn’t about policy or platform, it’s about racism, misogyny, lack of education—and a Right-wing media machine that caters to those realities.
How in the hell do you message against that?
