Yeah, we want in!

Heck, a large percentage of packages I get from businesses like Macys are shipped via UPS but the post office does the final delivery.

My parents didn't bother with me, they put my teeth in a glass of water on top of the TV because I was too light of a sleeper but I assume if they were going to be under my pillow, I would not have been stoked. Plus side, I used to get Ewoks, which probably shows my age

The first time I remember seeing the show was New Year's 89 I guess when they must have reran the episode from a few months prior with the nude beach. I was 11 and it totally clicked, I had a new favorite show and that was that

I'll try to get a pic when I can. Right now you'd just see his back. I saw his face briefly last night when I was checking to see if he was still out there

Cut to yesterday, I go out to shovel after we got some snow and I notice someone in the shelter and on second glance. It's not a cat like I expected. He stayed all day and wandered off around 8pm but was back this morning. Makes me feel good that he thinks it's safe enough of a spot to hang out.

Sir, fyi it's been like 20 something years and the joke about neck tattoos has yet to be surpassed in my friends group. Even past me getting one in the back of my neck ( my old roommate never let me live mine down because of you)

Depends on the album, yours? Always front to back (sometimes starting with Revolution Summer because it's my favorite song in the record.) There is something beautiful about a record like The Volunteers by onelinedrawing where shuffle was encouraged for a different listening experience each time

I only own a few issues of Iron Man and this is one of them.

I know of a band called Mulligan Stu but I had never heard of an actual food called Mulligan Stew

Tried finding those a couple of years ago, ended up with the plastic ones because the wicker was too expensive for what I wanted to pay

Is that Rizzo from Grease (not to be confused with everyone's favorite Rizzo from the Muppets)

Haha, as a kid I signed up for BMG's tape club and it was the tape of the month the first month. His records still hold up beautifully, which isn't something I can say for everything I listened to back then.

Still kicking myself for missing the Deltron tour they did a while back. I've seen Del both solo and with the Hieroglyphics crew and he has been amazing. His first album was eye opening for a 14 year old me but his second was life changing. The absolute best of the best

That's getting into the type of temp where I start wanting to watch The Thing.

Night of the Living Dead fell into public domain due to some poor planning. I believe Weinstein had Dogma locked up though Smith has it back finally so I heard there are releases coming this year. I still have my dvd from when it first came out. Possibly my favorite movie of his

976-EVIL is that movie for me. Always wonder but not enough to track it down

They were pretty close to all I watched when I had Shudder aside from Last Drive In of course.

I love this for him

I have been leaving food for some outdoor kitties in my neighborhood (my cat got put on a special diet so his old food needs to go somewhere...) and on Xmas Eve figured out that I was also feeding the fattest opossum I've ever seen. Happy someone gets to enjoy the Meow Mix

I'd make fun of wagon jumpers but I am wearing my St Brown jersey for the second time this week so...

So glad I got to see him. Was with Dave Attell and Lewis Black and honestly he stole the show. Bummed I missed a few shows he did in the Detroit area with Stephen Lynch (who I have not managed to see live)

I see you are the same age as I am

Funny you mention your great grandfather, every time I see one of your posts, I think about my own great grandfather, Maximilian Berger. And to a lesser extent my grandmother, Maxine

I saw Mac from Always Sunny on the witness stand last night (I imagine he had more in the episode if OG Law And Order, but I caught the episode in progress)

I have recently been very annoyed with this phenomenon. A few weeks ago I wasn't sure if I should open the windows, run my space heater or both.

I often think about when I visited a friend around this time of year and her dad offered her some ham as he was putting it away "Dad! You are the worst Jew..." her dad shrugged and mumbled "good ham though." Still cracks me up 10+ years later

Growing up we had a very similar looking cat, also named Mouse. Originally it was Melissa Mouse until it was time for the spay appointment and my parents were told, "well, we can neuter him if you want..." name got shortened since he actually answered to Mouse

And they jacked the prices for the house shows way up. I guess get the money while things are hot

Usually WWE has a couple of house shows here and 1 or 2 tv tapings. This year it was TV back in April and then there is a house show opposite the last USA Raw in the 30th. My friends and I went to as many shows in Toledo as Detroit this year.

I did go to a show in Toledo (and got covid but that's another story) and to be fair, WWE bailed on us hard this year as well.

My main annoyance with AEW is that there wasn't a Detroit show at all in 2024. And 1 each in the previous years that were super well attended and decently attended but for some reason they can do Chicago, NY and cities in Ohio multiple times a year. Getting to see it live helps build loyalty.
