In Born Yesterday (1950), a scene showed a National Symphony Orchestra concert at the Watergate steps behind the Lincoln Memorial. The orchestra played on a barge and people watched from the steps and canoes. The concerts ended in the 1960s and the NSO moved to Wolf Trap. Compare: a recent photo.
