The weapon that emphasize this the most is the Greatsword, big slow heavy swings with some armor and more often than not you will trade with the monsters, so you gotta know when it's the right time to charge a full swing and if you're not used to it it feels like you get interrupted 24/7

Everything feels like it's heavy because it's about risk reward, knowing what should be avoided, what blows you can risk taking to do something crazy in return and when and how to get the monster vulnerable to go all in on them

But menus are genuinely terrible and I suspect you might have had the bug of monsters running away too often, it's a known bug of the Beta I really recommend you give Rise or World a try for their first few hours if you haven't done so, and spend a moment in training learning your movesets

The fighting itself is all deciding about risk/reward, it's about knowing your moveset and then learning the patterns of the monster, it's like learning a match-up in fighting games, knowing what will get you punished and what is safe and under what circumstances

The Beta isn't a good entry point for MH, Worlds and Rise both made efforts in teaching you most of the mechanics you need to know about both fighting and traversal over the course of multiple missions so that it's digestable, you should try this because this beta might be a lot for a newcomer

It's not like Voxer appeared in almost every single one of his FFXIV guides or anything

Full month on vacation and coming back home to a new Monster Hunter game sounds like heaven not gonna lie

It's about time for Titanfall 3 I'm genuinely curious what the reception for it would be considering the previous 2 were commercial failures but very much beloved and word of mouth lifted these games among the must play FPS games over the years

Hell of a jab you got there

It's only quickplay and you can find a match so quickly in this game that a stomp is forgotten as quickly as it is done

They have names like GreatWiller or SweetTooth, just 1 majuscule at the beginning of each word, and the account is level 1 like it's their very first game

Imma be real Pat seeing you jump in ranked pick tanks and not having even read what Magneto or Thor kits and abilities are really doesn't enhance the experience I think

Caboose is really good too

I absolutely love Knuckles because it's still a reference like Zangief and the irony of his fucked up arms of course

No people are just very bad, you can not imagine the amount of Psylocke and Spiderman flanking us and never ever capturing the point after

I'm surprised no one hate Adam Warlock yet, he does very good damage, can cocoon himself and some specific allies meaning you might get flanked by the guy you just killed and can full rez his whole team and make them regen while they are invulnerable from the rez

They removed all the non hunting part of the Monster Hunter wannabe clone (crafting and all that) and made them microtransactions I remember this game was a few hitstops away from being decent but now it's just gone
