I walk past that bus stop on my walks and the glass was smashed out in November, late October at earliest. And there was trash. That was cleaned up. The city is struggling financially right now. Might need some volunteers?

That sounds conservative to me but sure. Depends on what tire you have. Coming down the Black Rock desert a group of us were trying to hit 100 mph. Then I remembered I was aired down to about 20 psi. Oops. But I regularly go 40 on pavement.

Thank you for sharing. I never owned land though I understand the idea of roots. Roots are very important and more than stealing land it is worse to steal cultures. We humans are still learning as we continue to make dreadful mistakes. May we each respect and learn from our history.

Parks are now restricting some trails if you don't have 4WD. And gravel and rock are hard on street tires - get some suited to offloading and air down as soon as you get off sealed roads. Maybe look to join a group like Overland Bound to have company and people with experience.

Any real threat of secession should focus on the military - refuse all federal taxes and instead get with east coast states to buy out the military and offer national protection, then just leave all that electoral college and Senate inequity blowing in the wind. I wonder who the military would back.

Not sure it is any nicer than when I got here in 1985, but yes, I love it here. On tax issues I would prefer to tax the rich than have sales tax land on the poor.

Poor management of crime and budget drove recalls. Sadly those recalls will make management chaotic for a bit but hopefully stiffen spines to allow the necessary changes. We now need a new mayor and DA willing to step into this mess.

Click on feeds, search for hiking, then travel. Follow some f the feeds that show, then they show as filters. I click the hiking feed all I see is hiking, though I mostly follow political stuff.
