I can’t believe we’re now living this

Could we fucking not?

✨SLIVING✨

My heart has really been broken by how many people on the left have celebrated or minimized the murder of over 1000 Jewish people. Naomi Klein does a beautiful job of explaining how unwise and unkind it is to celebrate Jewish death. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Truth.

Truth

Realizing that what I thought was an identity crisis is really just an identity conjunction.

Reposting this from Tumblr myself because otherwise people will be posting it tomorrow and other people will be asking if I said it.

This sounds like a threat.

Might microdose and plot a script tonight.

The media business is in rough shape but one bright spot is that every outlet seems to have established a dedicated That Weird Billionaire Who’s Trying To De-Age Himself bureau

That’s an option?!?!

it's always nice to have feelings for someone and not feel like im going insane

What am I even doing?

I asked an Indigenous colleague in Hawai'i where people can donate to and these were his suggestions (1/2): Hawaiʻi People's Fund: https://hawaiipeoplesfund.networkforgood.com/projects/200566-maui-aloha-the-people-s-response-fund ʻĀina Momona: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/kokuamaui

Lol an archaeology website had an AI write an article on the scimitar and they accidentally scraped a Dungeons and Dragons description.

i really am pretty bummed out about what has happened to twitter, if we are being honest. i met a lot of my best friends and collaborators there for like a decade. all for a rich guy to turn it into stormfront. it sucks

The way I write a script is to scribble ideas, research and plot points throughout a series of legal pads until it all comes together and I write 90 pages in a weekend.

They're kicking the can down the road because tools like Zoom aren't profitable. Tech companies have tried selling ads and they've tried selling your data to advertisers, now they're trying to monetize by using your data to create AI tools that will be profitable. But they will be unprofitable too.

Just yesterday on Bluesky I read how authors on Amazon and Goodreads have had shitty AI generated books attached to their author profiles and thought, “Oh, that would be terrible.” I checked and, well, fuck me, I’ve only written two books, folks, these ain’t mine. 📚

The early 70's were awesome because even Agatha Christie novels got covers like this.

This really was the only possible outcome.

The You Tube Effect is another must watch from @alexwinter.com. If you were in “digital” or “new media” back in the day you should watch it twice. 10/10

I can never get a meal delivery kit like Blue Apron or whatever because you know those freaks are only mailing out the amount of garlic the recipe calls for

I have nothing to say.
