It shouldn’t be considered an act of bravery to stand up for what we already fought for.

Eat the rich!

We are arms dealers to terrorists.

I know I'm not the only Jew on this website that is getting tired of y'all continuously posting sieg heil photos. We can effectively talk about how bad shit is without posting the photos. I promise you we can. Some of us still have living Holocaust survivors in our circles, ffs.

Just told a heartbreaking story of a foster parent who took in a 16 year old girl whose parents got taken away. The ice agents gave her the choice of going with her parents or going into foster care. Her parents begged her to stay for her safety. And they said goodbye to her.

The unraveling of Medicare has begun👇

Meals on Wheels update! I picked up a kitchen shift today. Thursday’s are so much quicker than Fridays! Less clients get meals. More people opt for MWF meals than daily meals. 588 meals today and 108 special meals. Lunch was chicken Alfredo, vegetable, and garlic bread.

TRUMP: You have a man who has let a country that had the more beautiful cities get demolished. The most beautiful domes. FOX: But that's Russia's fault, Mr President T: 1,000 year old domes. Everything is demolished. It's sorta like Gaza F: That's Putin's fault T: I get tired of listening to it

Keep going, people. www.retailbrew.com/stories/2025...

wearing sunglasses inside and following an event where he at times had a hard time speaking coherently, Elon Musk walks off the CPAC stage waving around a chain saw. this is the guy currently running our government. Congrats, America!

Are Republicans in Washington paying attention to Musk’s CPAC spectacle? The guy can barely talk. Do they realize they’ve handed their power and influence to a drug-addled billionaire man-baby? How is this not a national security risk?

I’m forcing the Senate to vote on an amendment to reverse Trump’s layoffs of thousands of critical wildland firefighters. My colleagues claim to support our first responders. Time for them to prove it.

Amanda Zurawski has been named one of TIME magazine’s Women of the Year. Amanda’s Story: Citing the state’s abortion laws, Texas doctors denied Amanda Zurawski emergency medical care when her water broke at only 18 weeks of pregnancy. It was September of 2021, and Amanda was miscarrying. Her…

"Your call is important to us." LOL, no it's not and you know it, otherwise, I'd be able to talk to an actual person.

It was an honor to sign the guest book in the home of Anne Frank. I was here as a younger man and thought about her life as a dark chapter of history. Today, I can’t help but think of her story as one of caution. Our world is fragile, and it’s incumbent on us not to break it.

DOGE Claimed It Saved $8 Billion in One Contract. It Was Actually $8 Million. By Wednesday morning, DOGE had updated its list to show $8 million in savings, though it did not acknowledge the error or explain how it might affect its calculation of total money saved. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/18/u...

I watched some of the negotiations of the American team with the Russians today. Rubio and Waltz seemed like naive babes in the woods dealing with the experienced and jaded Lavrov. These guys put the cards right out on the table. It was embarrassing. They seemed like kids trying to please their dad.

"Last year the Supreme Court gutted the rulings that reined in Nixon, and now Trump and Elon Musk are running the government as if they are the only law in the land. They insist they are 'saving' the country by burning down its institutions, and they bogusly claim a mandate of the people to do it."

A smart political party would be running ads about this. Would have press conferences with affected workers explaining how their work helped everyday people. Would have bought a Superbowl ad. Would never fucking shut up about what is happening.

If they can’t handle the discomfort of “I told you so,” then they definitely aren’t ready to be part of an anti-fascist coalition, so this question truly answers itself

When talk turns to strategic coalition-building, the calls are always for us "not to scream in their faces" and never for them to simply say "I'm sorry. I was wrong."

The Times spoke to people being trapped inside a Panama hotel after deportation from the US and the individual stories of horror are almost too much to bear www.nytimes.com/2025/02/18/w...

Maybe I went to a farm and sniffed up some avian flu in my sneaky cat nose. How would you even know? Not like they’re tracking that stuff for farm workers, who are literally such important people for us all

🍊💩🤡 negotiating with Putin without Zelensky is the height of arrogance and ignorance "Nothing about us, without us"

“[The Israelis] blew up my house, levelled my land, and... enjoyed cutting down the trees.” In Lebanon's Naqoura, returning townspeople are saddened and perplexed by the ferocity of Israel's pointless destruction aje.io/9nd1pm

So if Musk doesn’t run DOGE, and DOGE isn’t a real government agency, then no one has to listen to Musk or do what the DOGE bros tell them to do, right?

"As Trump has touted Musk’s cost-cutting work as vital to curbing spending abuses, one of Trump’s first moves in office last month was to fire 17 veteran agency watchdogs, whose jobs have long been to ferret out waste, fraud and abuse in federal departments." www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Because of DOGE, countless Americans are going to die.

Slain transgender man Sam Nordquist was tortured for weeks, police say; 5 people arrested. We don't want "special rights." We want the right not to be tortured and murdered. www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...

‘Free speech’ 🙃

Nothing will put the “co-president” meme to rest better than an exclusive joint interview of the co-presidents.
