If they have to return to the UK it's going to be awkward for awhile. "We're home, sorry about that rebellion bruhaha..."

For better or worse people used to fear going up against the Teamsters. They've wilted so much in recent years.

I used to know players but now everyone is just a bunch of guys and Lebron. The NBA used to really push top players and personalities and get them out there so everyone knew them and wanted to see them.

A fraction of a fraction of that could do so much good in the world.

I didn't know it was illegal to inform people of their rights so they can't be taken advantage of by dishonest law enforcement. He's such a moron.

My friend described Musk standing over Trump's shoulder and talking like a "Fucked up Emperor Palpatine" and I can't get it out of my head. This is actual insanity.

Mockery is key. They cannot process it.
Remember when Tim Walz just called them weird and their subsequent meltdowns about it.

I opened up notepad and "sam candles" just kept getting copy pasted through the whole document!

The sci-fi plot completely ruined Valhalla for me.

It's easy to blame culture wars and "Anti-Woke" people but if we really want to look at this situation honestly, developers and journalists are also very guilty by antagonizing their audiences openly.

If there's one thing in this world that can bring haters and fans together it's a mutual disgust towards EA and how they operate, gaslight and outright lie to everyone.

I'm starting to think they are almost afraid to reveal information. Their early comments about "modernizing" it and the combat have me greatly concerned. DQ fans don't want massive changes, we love our comfy blanket of a game. Just give us new stories and keep the gameplay and style the same please.

My choices aren't really guided by a moral code they rely simply on how the character I'm interacting with makes me feel. Are they being weird and snarky to me? They're getting trolled or receiving hostility. If they are nice and friendly I tend to pick the more "heroic" paths.

It's my favorite stuff! I want MORE Allagan places and dungeons, they are peak.

I just don't see how anyone fights this with proper methods against people that just do not care about legality. The sobering realization that our entire country was held together with gentlemen's agreements not to do certain things is certainly a frightening one.

They don't even have to do that. He has no interest in the job of governing, he just wants the big stage and to look like a big strong man in the world.

Liberals ceded that entire population to Republicans long ago. A lot of the blame falls on their shoulders for sticking their noses up at rural people and acting like they were no longer needed. If we can't admit this to ourselves then there's no chance of changing anything.

This is true. Just look at Elon himself. He's already trying to worm his way into UK and German politics just like he did in America.

It's amazing to me how Republicans can do all that constantly when they are the minority party but Democrats just can't seem to go there. Amazing and infuriating.

You just know EA's fingerprints are gonna be all over Mass Effect as well. They will use Veilguard's "failure" as an excuse to oversee everything more closely.

I doubt it. There's a reason they are all really young and it's because they are stupid and inexperienced. Perfect useful patsies to use and toss aside.

Guess we see now why Elon was so tilted about their names getting out.
comment in response to

Yep. Keep using words like creepy and weird. Remember when Tim Walz called Republicans "weird" and how tilted they got about it and how it was catching on until they benched him.

I thought the digs made them look petty and small. FFXIV developers have never spoken about WoW with anything but respect and considering Blizzard's track record of talking a good game but rarely delivering they should probably not be puffing their chests out just yet.

Yep. As long as the real brains behind all this madness keep telling him how great and smart he is he doesn't care what they do.

Exactly this. Now all the media people will be freaking out over the Gaza comments.

No it means they didn't sell enough. That's all it means, it was flowery corpo-speak for it didn't reach their insane expectations.

Republicans never have any issues obstructing agendas or shutting down congress when they are the minority party. Why do Democrats struggle with it?
comment in response to
post
My answer to that is I want them to use the Republican playbook against them. Why is that whenever Republicans are out of power and the minority they find many creative ways to obstruct any agenda but Democrats just think it's politics as usual and do nothing. Going high is not an option anymore.

I'm just going to assume nobody in the media will stand up and ask what insubordination they participated in.

I'm stunned at how effectively Yoshida managed to absolutely crater all the hype this game had generated. He needs to pull his head out of his ass and focus on the game that brought him to the dance and stop mucking around with side project flops.
Oh and I agree.

If I hear anything even remotely about "massive earnings this quarter" I will lose it.

I wish I could but writers and developers need to learn how to deliver such things effectively. There is far too much ham-fisted nonsense that almost borders on being parody. They need a deft hand to implement such things to where it feels natural and not like a lecture.

The marketing and name were god awful. I remember when I first saw a commercial for the Wii U, I legit didn't know it was an entirely new console.

Maybe you and your fellow Democrats should grow a backbone and do something about Musk and his cronies having unfettered access to data and systems that should be illegal for them to even see.

Spiderman Web of Shadows had me hooked on the Wii. Web slinging around the open world city using the Wiimote felt really good.

They also spend too much time taken aback asking "Is that legal?" while never realizing their opponents don't *care* if it's legal, they do it anyway.

Which is just silly because modders will do that for free and do it better.

I absolutely love that they all have the same general feel and are consistent throughout releases so you can easily just hop in and feel right at home in a new game. Like a comfy blanket.
Sadly it's also why their talk of "modernizing" DQ12 has me concerned.

EA will do anything to avoid actually putting fresh people on their tired sports games so I believe it.
