I'm guessing she must have been listed on the deed? if it was transferred recently before her death, it would be considered hiding assets. My g'ma couldn't afford inheritance tax when my g'father passed away bc it was 75% at the time, lost home which g'ma mostly paid for bc she wasn't on title.
