They were big when he was a kid. It’s probably what he’s relating to.

I love it. But there you go…

I think it was possibly his finest hour, tactically. I must admit I had my doubts when I saw the team but Schar’s press for the second goal said everything about our intent.

What a side and what a kit. Just before signings of Ferdinand and Ginola.

Thanks for the update.

They were superb. On the front foot all of the time. We never got to grips with their energy or aggression.

Surely it is 40 years ago?

I thought exactly the same thing. I don’t think we played particularly well last night. Enough to win but 3-0 flattered us given the number of chances they had. In phases I was moderately impressed by them. And Cunha is excellent. No other team at the bottom has a player like that.

It’s a start! He’s remembered he is actually the Prime Minister! Now actions as well as words, Sir Keir.

Pretty good. I’m having Schmeichel in goal, Terry left side centre back and Keane just ahead of Vieria. There are so many great players not in it as well. No City with is interesting as they’ve been as dominant as anyone.

Spot on. It seems like nobody outside the club can mention Isak’s name in particular without Arsenal being in the next sentence. It’s boring.

Brilliant Steve, I agree with every word.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Ipswich for this reason.

He scored a hat trick against us from full back in 1987. I was ten. Never seen anyone do that since. Brilliant player.

What a player he was for us.

Soccer Saturday used to have George Best. One of the greatest players of all time. Now it has Michael Dawson and Clinton Morrison. It’s senior pundit is Paul Merson who makes everything up on the spot and can barely string a sentence together.

I’m encouraged that EH is (for him) outspoken about the need for change. He is usually very guarded with his words. It tells me that he thinks time is up for some. It has been pretty obvious that upgrades in some positions are long overdue. EH is loyal to his players but that can only go so far.

I couldn’t agree more.

I thought we’d turned the corner after the Arsenal and Forest wins but the last two performances have been really poor. We look no more than a mid table side. Bruno, Gordon, Isak as our main players have been really poor for this season. They tend to get too much of a free ride IMO.

I think it’s more lack of tactical variation and creativity needed in those games as opposed to motivation. Either way it needs to significantly improve.

Pulp fiction top in my opinion. I loved Once upon a time... Kill Bill didn’t do it for me though everyone else I know loves it.
