For real though. It makes me so frustrated when I see it. "Oh but how else am I going to portray my character in art?" Commission someone? Save up? People get so defensive about it because they see it as their "only option"

Oooo very nice! I've been experimenting with regular pencils though I've been gradually going back to the precision of mechanical pencils. The colored lead is an absolutely prime choice though, I'll have to keep that in mind. 🫡

I keep all my notes on physical paper because I like the sensation of filling pages that I can turn. I primarily read ebooks though because of ease of access. I bounce between books a lot so being able to easily switch without carrying around 3 books at a time is great.

Painted/lineless work processes can really differ based on what kind of style you want to achieve. As with all art I find color choice and shapes are what make or breaks it, ultimately.

Man thats a mood for me too. Whats helped me is trying to reframe it as positive “Thank you for being here for me” etc etc. It helps give you more awareness of when it happens while also providing you a way to still fill the need. The goal is of course to address the underlying cause eventually but…

In the intirim I would suggest paying $20 for cloud storage somewhere if you can. Can't work from the files and it'll break file dependencies in the long term (maybe) but it'll save the files.
