Living in a 1930s house in California, so there's a significant risk of old-house stories. Otherwise, expect some combination of cooking, computers, biochemistry, skiing, and hiking.

Yeah, it didn't seem likely at this time of year.

You could need to have your dose adjusted - which means getting your thyroid levels tested.
Otherwise- my spouse was on levothyroxine for a while and had an issue where a heat wave seemed to mess up the pills, fwiw. The subsequent refill was fine. Any chance they got stored at >90F for a while?

Good question- I haven't had occasion to try for a long time, so I'm not sure. Worth a try, anyway.

I use the instant pot a lot more than I expected to- it's a really good pressure cooker, basically. You can make stews or chili or pot roast with little effort and a modest amount of elapsed time. That's also stuff that freezes and portions well, so you don't have to eat a whole roast at once.

Oooh... I have the stuff for spherification around here somewhere. I'll report back, but it may be a few weeks before I can try it.

I feel your pain. Pretty sure this is about the humidity sensor inside the dryer- so the clothes should get more dry before it quits. That probably means running longer, of course.

If you have an affiliated credit card you can check 2x 75-lb pieces without an extra charge, so if you're under 150 lbs it seems legit.

Late to the game, but three things in my kitchen:
- little magnetic pen holder on the fridge
- painter's tape in the drawer nearest the fridge
- sharpie in the holder
- write the date on dried beans
- or leftovers, or whatever.

I'll bite. The donor was/is consenting, so yes. I'm neither vegan nor Catholic tho.
