The Trump administration and the Department of Interior did this. The NPS has to follow these changes and EOs. They literally don’t have a choice. Don’t put this on the NPS. These are cruel orders from the day one EOs that Trump signed.

I can’t speak for every agency, just mine and the many that are still posting communications without any unknown nefarious overlords approval. For this alt account to make a blanket statement like this contributes to the already flooded market of misinformation

My agency is. Many agencies are. We haven’t been asked to send anyone our social posts. I imagine some of the public health agencies might have been asked to send their proposed comms for approval but that’s not the case with most fed agencies.

Come on man. We’ve celebrated this recognition month for decades. Reagan really kicked it off in 1986 with his presidential proclamation and it became even more popular after that. DEI is one thing but canceling black history month is just cruel and wrong.

Would be interesting to see if they don’t adhere to 508. The previous admin did a terrible job. The fed agencies barely added alt text let alone trying to find a video with captions. Some agencies did it but most did not.
