A lot of Americans don't know this, but the winner of the Canadian election will be required live in a small cottage located in the backyard of the palace where the viceroy to the King of England lives. The cottage just recently got a new wifi router, which was very exciting for all Canadians.

I hate to say it but I am not yet convinced Canadians won’t hand the Conservative Party an election win. Worried there are too many eligible voters who won’t vote, who are not engaged at all. Very online people may not realize it but many people are checked out on politics.

What happens next? Carney will be invited to form a govt by the GG. Carney will be the Prime Minister-designate during a transition period (could be really fast or a few days). Once the transition is over, Trudeau formally resigns as Prime Minister, and Carney is appointed PM.

People wanting Canada to strip Elon of his citizenship- I get it. But: unless he obtained it fraudulently, it is a slippery slope when you start choosing who is/isn’t Canadian on moral grounds or ‘cause you don’t like them. If he breaks a Canadian law, charge him.
