I would never expect this of a Labour Government, I feel totally betrayed.

Evidence when you read the Green Paper that if you lose your PIP after the introduction of new point scoring system that the DWP will help you look for 'work'. So if someone score constant 3's in daily component the DWP will expect them to get a job but someone with all 1's and one four can get PIP.

If you score well enough to receive PIP you have an enduring disability, and you are ABLE to work and receive PIP!

'People who are in receipt PIP are less likely to leave the benefit now than when it was first introduced. This means both that more people are on health and disability benefits for longer and those that are on inactive benefits for long periods have lower chances of a return to work.'

An example of how bad this is Green Paper is with dealing with reality of disability and badly written it states,

I am not saying that PIP needed to be looked at again. There needed to be work from the charities implemented into a review, such as the 2011 'Employment and Support Allowance Work Capability Assessment review: Making it work for fluctuating conditions'. Yes for ESA, but question asked is the same.

Very much a 'political' decision. Changes to PIP mean that potentially someone could score 3 throughout the daily activities section of PIP showing a clear need of support but because they have not scored a 4 in any one area would be deprived of support. Would be poverty by any sense of the word.

I think the changes in PIP will, if implemented, lead to more tribunals rather than less. Imagine if you got 3 points in a category after an assessment. You are bound to want to challenge that decision.

Don't worry I have been shouting exactly that at the TV myself.

Thank you for your support. Sad that Radio 4 hold disabled people in such high regard that you were hurried for a piece about 'is your dog depressed'. I never though I would see Labout playing the 'Conservative Blame Game'.

I was disappointed that Mr McFadden does not appear to know the difference between Sickness Benefit and PIP which is an 'enablement' benefit. To reflect his sarcasm back at him the clue is in the name! #Welfare

It will work as well as Star Wars did under Disney! At least the energy crisis will end as we can use Fleming spinning in his grave.
