Yeah that’s the real question who’s picking them?

But only one of these pays enough to buy a house

They have been replaced with Robo investment planners. And I’m not even sure thats a bad thing

The onboarding process at the VA is like 6 months… good luck hiring a replacement for what the government pays

I think the bigger problem with Girl Scout Cookies is that it looks very similar to a MLM scheme where you sell a bunch of cookies to the parents and troop and then they are stuck trying to unload them. Most of the profits go to the organization and only 70c trickles down to the troop itself.

Through the magic of compound interest in 22.5 years of never drinking coffee you will save 100k. Which might be enough to buy a Toyota Corolla in 2047. Never a truly life changing amount.
comment in response to post
No they don’t, at least not meaningfully. Only way to make an impact is to earn more. A 5-10k gained by switching jobs will make a much bigger impact. Drink the coffee and update your resume.

Seriously -4 on us equities and 9 on emerging. That’s just stupid. I could see 4/6 if you think us will underperform but it seems highly unlikely that they would driverge directionally

Mine too but I can’t safely leave them on YouTube for half an hour while we drive to practice. Otherwise YouTube premium would be a good alternative

Hard to leave Netflix if you have kids. None of the other streaming services have a lot of kids content except maybe Disney
comment in response to post
I guess people are leaving insta. Only people in their 50s were posting content to facebook

Where else are you going to go in a flight to safety?

The real problem is that recipes claim it takes 5 min but it’s actually 30min minimum

Yeah but how many consistently leave the casino a winner? Probably around the same 1 or .1%

I suppose under the ideal market hypothesis any expectation of movement is already priced in but prices are often sticky in the short term even if the trend is up corrections are rarely instant

Nobody is going to let them in this time, they are going to have to wait outside. This is a millionaire only event.

His poor messaging on making really put public health back 10-20 years tough

There is a lot of different indicators that show US equities are quite overvalued in comparison to mean returns. If you believe that investing at least some of tour money in diversified international etfs is pretty good strategy.

It’s because very few people actually care about the utility of the block chain. It’s all speculative
comment in response to post
In a round about way you are still getting back to the idea of mean reversion. I think it’s likely that at least some of the multiple expansion is here to stay. At 25x your equity premium is 1.1% over tips. Not great but at least you aren’t as inflation exposed as fixed bonds.
comment in response to post
If you bought 10 year bonds at 2-3% you are going to be in a negative present value position right now if you sold then. Banks will often report that as unrealized losses. It’s bad for liquidity because if you need to sell bonds to cover say fire claims you realize losses and could have problems.

Yeah switch 2 is about finally having enough ram and cpu to run modern engines

They were going to merge anyway they never good actors anyway. A bunch of aholes being aholes in a lawless world. I’m not sure I care.

So they want to be us news and world report? They better start writing at a 7 th grade level because that’s how well an average American reads

You can profitably spam, and sell Ai. It’s about as useful as blockchain

We’re going to 3 degrees. Just figure out what you need to do about it and buy property accordingly.

Escape velocity fan too? Looks great we need more games of this style. How’s the story? Space games live and mostly die on storytelling

Chinese Christmas lights will never cost more than cost +cost to launder through a 3rd country (Vietnam) so 10 +2$ or whatever even with 300% tariffs

Duration matched bonds to your withdrawal plan is literally the definition of no risk. Bond ETF is not that. It’s a speculative instrument.

It’s the bread. The fillings are secondary to fresh bread

In the olden days they had to ruin pork to make it safe. It’s no longer necessary to overcook pork due to better farming and slaughter practices so you can cook to a much lower temp

Bad for us exports great for travel abroad and buying Chinese goods

Now graph bond prices to give some ideas of losses incurred

Not to dox myself I can tell you that my union local was betrayed by our national branch to force an unfavorable contract vote next to a holiday weekend. Still we typically get a better deal than what non union side gets so despite grift there are still net benefits
comment in response to post
If your house burns down in LA and you don’t DIY the general contracting your will get fleeced and it will take years to start.
comment in response to post
The premise is often that you can’t typically obtain the level of give a F you desire from a professional when you want it or at a price (time/money) you can afford. Even in Seattle an excellent cup of coffee is 5-6$ and 15-20 min of time with time being the most expensive part.

Boo!
comment in response to post
That’s a pretty hateful op Ed to publish. I guess they are also bowing to the man in charge
comment in response to post
Seems like you are just going to end up paying a bunch of union dues to a organization that’s mostly grift and fails to actually do much for individuals. Small unions are better at addressing their members needs

Possible AIG was an early indicator last time. I imagine that many insurance companies are under pressure from raising interest rates severely impacting liquidity. In the even off a major outflow things could go sour
