Not only is cognitive accessibility often forgotten, but features like this are often not recognized as accessibility features when they are present. Perhaps because they benefit any player, even those that think they don't need or use accessibility features in games (spoiler alert: everyone does).

Typically for me it's something I want to explore: whether a theme, or a challenge for me as a writer. Beau was made when there weren't many good, kind characters around my bubble. So I used that as her central theme. Faewynn, conversely, was born of nothing and blossomed from interaction.
