Because the enemy is the people, not those in power keeping this shit going?
Like yeeesss more civil unrest is going to make those using their power for their own personal game get thrown out of office, yaaaasss.
I get that they're dumb... But you're also all fucking stupid for think this helps.

The first wave was like 300 million deaths.
On earth, it was a near post apocalyptic event. The aftermath of it is where you'd have those other deaths.
But yeah... Billions died because of Zeon. Like that's why they start the show off every episode telling you about that one event.

Yes.
Around 2.5 billion people died.

Simply put, a majority of the Pacific islands would be thrown into a state of turmoil, Including NZ, and wouldn't be able to survive without extensive outside help, which... Well you've seen how the Feddies act with their red tape stopping any help that may have been available.

Kicked into the atmosphere, stoping vegetation from growing effectively.
NZ relies on its dairy and forresty export for a lot of it's money, and having that impacted would hold massive effects outside of colony fall out and other debris.

The colony hit Sydney, which is on the lower east side of Australia.
To create a crater that big... Its gonna have fallout. Australia would most likely be a barren wasteland leaving only the west coast.
NZ, prone to earthquakes and tsunamis would be hit by these after effects as well as the dust ki

Being honest, I just want one that doesn't blow up Australia and New Zealand episode 0.

I'm almost 30 and still worry about getting yell at by my dad.
He's an abusive gambler with a drug problem that's so controlling at times I'm not allowed to wash my clothes, or wat food.
So... That might be why I'm having sleeping problems.

Because it takes a lifetime to inact positive change in a society without violent revolution.
Its a hard, awful battle, but it's worth it to see our future generations not grow up with the same cycles of hate we've had to put up with.
We need to foster these communities instead of giving up on them

I agree when it comes to criticism. Someone made this thing and you're gonna call them lazy? Nah... That's not how that works.
BUT, I will call gamers lazy for not washing their dirty fucking ass, when all they've done is sit looking at pretty lights all day. Ain't no excuse.

BUT, I have faith. The kids are smart, and they're a lot better at dealing with technology than I give them credit form
I just hope that they're smarter than us. I hope I can help make them smarter than anything I could hope to be. Or at least more aware of the ways these things can hurt us.

I feel your worry, and it makes me angry.
I feel like I've failed not only your teens, but any who come after me.
We used to have a world where we explored together, but now I worry that we'll all explore alone, and watch eachother through our screens.
Im scared we won't be REALLY connected.

Anything but, right?

It can allow some to connect, sure. But it also allows others to create fictitious ideas about what reality really is. We get to create the lens in which the world sees us. We can create a false image and receive adoration and fulfilment based on that false image.
Its all so fake and meaningless.

I don't agree.
But I'm of the belief that social media creates harmful ideas on how we view the lives of others and ourselves, the constant access to the opinions on what everyone else thinks and feels without knowing anything about us, without having a connection to us. Its dangerous.

That's not building community though, that's trying to gain supporters for a political cause.
I'm talking about building community gardens, hosting card game events and movie nights, having art events, and supporting eachother outside of political alignment. A community of people, not voters.

Unless you make it change that is.
We have to foster a better community than the one we have now. We have to make a change or our kids won't feel safe. I don't want them to grow up scared to be themselves.
I didn't mean for that last part to sound so rude, and I am sorry for that.

Listen, as a trans women, hiding online instead of walking the streets is exactly what they want.
When you fear the outside world, when you fear being out in public, and making connections with people, you've allowed them to win.
The future you foster for your grandbabies will not change.

Not with the same flair.
I remember watching so many good Tekken 7 combo videos.
What the hell was that one dude's name with the S? They'd just put out the dirtiest Tekken edits. Like.. skronk or some shit. UGGGHHH so good.

I hope this site goes down too, honestly, and that were forced to start participating in our local communities instead of a void of cyberspace.

Social media ruined the internet, and turned people into a For You Page suckling mess.
"Why explore and create niche communities of people who care about the things they love when we can dilute the experience and give you an algorithmically curated load of slop designed to keep you watching?"
comment in response to

No.
I think people spend far too much time cultivating nonexistent connections with online entities instead of forming connections in their own lives that leaves them hollow. I'd rather we don't use social media, and went back to forums instead of stale boring single social media sites.

The more time we spend with newer games without the memes that can carry it, the more diluted the experience. The issue is that you can't create artificial memes, they have to be made naturally, otherwise they do t stick and just become a fad.
