actually i just conducted a rich ethnographic immersive field study and determined that what people want is a romcom rpg with Edelgard from Fire Emblem Three Houses (with the option to customize the gender of both the MC and Edelgard obvi).
but like I'd take both.

more seriously tho, IMO "per" works much better for the typical use case. "as" by itself usually feels awkward, and both together make my mind stutter a bit as it feels a bit nonsensical (even if it has a common use meaning).
of course, I say this as per-sonal preference.

as per best practice, I pick both. mwah. ha.

they don't even care about - if they even see - the brutal demoralizing effects and churn this has on the staff and other experts they hired to do this stuff.
trying to keep this semi-professional, but they're fucking assholes.

it's not even malicious - they are usually ignorant, indifferent, or both, and have no interest in the logistical and financial costs of actually changing existing features / process to do anything meaningful (esp if there is any legal or PR risk involved).

the pretending by Stancil and co that Marxism is uniquely flawed and / or is unlikely to give insight into historical trends is absurd, lol.

for reference, this is the absurdity of Helldivers 2 - a fun game that mocks fascism from top to bottom.

the majority of the folks there are probably normal, chill people just trying to get by. so they'd probably just sternly yell at her & stuff.
maybe some good swears tho.
(noem deserves an ass kicking, just want to avoid even implicitly accepting the lie that the kidnapped folks are violent / bad)

you just don't get the NUANCE here, ok? maybe if you studied philosophy and logic and stuff you could.
you see: you can't make fun of a problematic version of a thing - or even gently tease about healthy versions! - if you do a healthy version of another thing, ok?
i will keep this short... 1/77

just an internet stranger pausing to say: I'm so sorry, both that you're experiencing the medical issue AND that you're not getting the care you deserve. I send polite, platonic digital hugs and wish you comfort, support, and success as you navigate this dark moment.

and tying this back to @nerdjpg.com 's point:
these more important discussions and critiques (and actions based on them!) rarely happen bc many of the media / Dems involved either don't have that bigger, community-grounded vision or are too cowardly / afraid to share and fight for it.

this is similar to the critiques of "DOGE", which constantly accept the frame that "DOGE" should be evaluated in terms of "savings".
when the first concerns should be the insincerity, the costs of cutting public goods, the avoidance of community oversight, etc.

ty for alt text!
would you mind putting your signature / artist name on your pieces as well?
I love to share art like this with my partner and friends but don't want attribution to get lost as it gets shared and reshared. =)
