pretty indisputable at this point that the Cybertruck is the most high profile vehicle flop of my lifetime, I can’t think of anything remotely comparable
total disaster in every way, you love to see it

Tesla now accepts Cybertruck trade-ins, and the official resale loss is $35k over just 6,000 miles.
I repeat: according to Tesla itself a Cybertruck loses $5.60 cents per mile, not counting the cost of electricity, tires, etc.
Unprecedented levels of flop!

I’m really keen about the new cars coming out in foreign countries and the newfound hate/distrust Canadians are developing for American technology.
I wonder what affordable, anti-American options we might soon have, like Mexico’s weird little boxy thing. Adventure!
It's a tacky copy of the Delorian, probably he grew up watching Back to the Future, so it makes sense.

Well. Now I know.
Even then it has a place in history due to Back to the Future.
Were the Back To The Future franchise ever rebooted I suppose you could put a Cybertruck in it. For Biff, not Marty and Doc.
The boycotts are still on, the mad CEO hasn’t changed - just riding the larger upward momentum of momentary tariff relief? Not that its valuation ever was based in reality.
Cars that look like Toasters should make a come back.
People who buy cars are notoriously concerned about their appearance. The cybertruck looks like crap. It’s bad at being a pickup in specific. Perfect for MAGA.
We *invested* in a van which we'll probably drive for a decade or more -- her last car before this was a 2003 -- and Cybertrucks lose almost as much value before 6K miles as we spent on our "totally extravagant" van.
To be fair, I am surprised nobody has spoofed it already, like having the whole darn thing start to get up speed, "hit the wire", then just fall apart.
I hope I'm wrong.
just odd
I settled for a Justy. (Which was actually pretty good. Had it up to 100mph at one point. Weld quality on the space frame left something to be desired, though.)
the damn thing IS a memecar & that's all it ever was

But Ford was quick enough to pull it and replace it.
Elmo got nothin' to replace it with.
Whose minister of health... Dr Oz ?!
