I invested in Costco because they reasonably compensate their CEO and take good care of employees. We’ve been shopping at the same Costco that opened 30 years ago and they still have many of the original staff, still smiling, and very diverse. It’s a beautiful collection of people. They get it.

I also know of small businesses who were contracted to work with Target on their pride collections who were all suddenly cancelled and forced to either pay for their unsold product or let it be destroyed. Designs were also changed to be “less radical” and more PC. They are performative at best

As a fellow union member I 100% side with the Teamsters’ decision, and it may be wrong of me but I justify shopping there simply for the fact that they even *have* the right to unionize and strike as a negotiating tool - many big box stores (ahem Sam’s Club/Walmart) are major anti union.
